    Dropped off my car and they said to call back for collection. Been on hold for 35minutes now and they won't answer. Will need to walk back up and see what's happening, but if its not ready I need to go through it all again. They need to man their phones better.

    Nothing wrong with the store which had good and helpful staff. However, I felt conned by the Halfords website which suggested that the installation of windscreen wipers should be done by a staff member. It attracted a premium price for two minutes work. I know next time.

    My car lightbulbs were replaced by Stuart and he was excellent! The old bulbs really did not want to budge but after some hard graft from Stuart he had my car fixed up. He was super friendly and approachable. It was great customer service! Thank you again.

    I had my car’s dash camera fitted last month, straight after that multi indicator lights showed on the dash board, but the guy who fitted it put the blame on battery, anyway I took his advice to have battery changed in the Auto center next door, nothing changed the indicator lights still on, even the store manager denied everything there was nothing they can, nobody came out to help to find out what had happened to my car. I took my car to a garage they found out the camera fuse holder being in wrong location!! I went back to the store with the invoice to claim back the cost, the manage told me Halford isn’t a shop, I have to claim the money back myself through their claim procedure, hell knows how long that will take!!! That is the worst experience and service I have ever been through in my life!

    Still waiting on a refund after 3 months. Booked my car in for a simple winter service on a Saturday early morning was meant to have it back 5pm. Got told I couldn't have it back until Monday night. Said this would disrupt my work, told me to come again the next Saturday and it would be done. Came the next Saturday early start. Sat around until late afternoon and then they discover they don't have the right oil for my car. Told me they wanted to keep me car in until Monday night because they drained my old oil out. Disruption for work again. So booked in for a 3rd Saturday! 3rd Saturday morning. Finally got serviced. Oil in stock again. Within a day my car has crazy noises coming through the engine, warning light on my dash board. Called Halfords to get it seen as was worried my car was falling apart. "We can't get you in until next week". My car was working pretty well before bringing it in. Only once it's been sen by Halfords did it start to have problems. Mechanic friend came to have a look, took a photo of bucket loads of oil on the belt. Careless mechanics. Spoke to Liza the manager, she said she would issue a refund. That was almost 3 and a half months ago. I am over £260 down and I still don't feel I've had an efficient service. Excuses of head office waiting to process the refund, went into the store in person and got told to wait and wait. Done waiting. Never write bad reviews. But after many emails and calls to head office, maybe this is the only way to get help. Paid for my service through Klarna as Halfords said it would help spread the amount. Now Klarna hounding me to pay despite the fact Halfords head office was meant to have processed my refund. Halfords, get in contact with me.

    This place is disgusting put my car in for a 10-point check. Got a text to confirm the time and date when I went there the very rude guy said your 2 hours late, I wasn't showed him my booking he walked away saying whatever. Left my car at 3 pm and told me they would phone would take a couple of hours. Never heard anything that day. The next morning had to get my uncle to walk down to see what was happening they never did a thing and said there was no booking standing laughing at him. Absolutely disgraceful I need my car as I have a premature baby in hospital, not one person called to say what was happening, just left my car sitting there. Halford's head office is getting a phone call all your staff need replacing

    Terrible experience at Rutherglen branch. I was collecting my grandsons bike I bought and paid to have built. I was left to struggle through 2 sets of heavy double doors with the bike my bag and mudguards I also purchased. The men in the store were not friendly at all. I was scheduled to collect the bike at an allocated time, but unfortunately one of the staff had stuck paper on my window saying no parking. The young men inside watched .e struggle for 20mins to get the bike in mycar , which shocked me just out of decency to even offer to help. I'm now in pain and was severely stressed with the situation. I have used halfords for years,but not ever again. Awful customer service.

    Attended the store and was warmly greeted by Luke, I came in to find some advice regarding a balance bike for my son Tobias. He was a little worried and Luke was totally professional and engaged with me and my son regarding our balance bike requirements. The staff in the this store are unbelievably professional, I witnessed them unfortunately having to deal with some rather rude customers, one child and there father riding bikes around the store completely ignoring staffs pleas that this was not allowed. Totally professional thanks Luke and staff!!
