Liverpool Cathedral was breathtaking. Exploring the interior of the largest cathedral in Britain and the fifth largest in the world was a unique experience. There is no entrance fee but if you wish to see the whole city from above, that would be a great idea to buy tickets for its tower from the gift shop inside. (7Β£ tickets which also give you the chance to visit the cathedral's enormous bell chamber.) The only thing to keep in mind is that the opening hours might differ in various occasions. So, you'd better check their website prior to visit.

Absolutely beautiful! Definitely a must see! If the weather is nice - I recommend going to the top for some nice view of Liverpool. Ticket for 1 adult was 7Β£. You'll have to take 2 lifts and climb some stairs but its worth it. All staff were very nice and chatty.

Really beautiful cathedral and absolutely huge; you can see it from loads of places around the city. We just popped in for a look and ended up staying longer than expected. Inside was really peaceful, the windows incredible, and the whole place felt impressive. Got student tickets for Β£6; good deal. Staff were friendly and thereβs a cafΓ© and little shop if you fancy a drink or a souvenir. If you go up the tower you get an amazing view over Liverpool, especially on a clear day. Definitely worth a visit if youβre nearby

Plentiful parking right outside, easy accessibility for all and help on hand if needed. Clean toilets and lovely environment throughout. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely morning, lunch and a couple of drinks too in the lovely cafe. So many beautiful areas to explore and lots of information on hand. Cannot recommend this place enough for a bit of culture in your life. We will defo be back.

Absolutely stunning! Liverpool Cathedral may not be ancient, but itβs one of the largest in the UK and completely free to visit. It is an unmissable and truly iconic landmark when visiting Liverpool. The towering exterior is breathtaking, and once you step inside, the soaring ceilings and long central nave create an incredible sense of space and grandeur. When sunlight shines through the beautiful stained glass windows, the whole place feels sacred and peaceful. A perfect spot to pause, reflect, and admire truly magnificent architecture, well worth spending some time to explore.

This cathedral is all about space and the openness of it is amazing. What a worship space! The staff were wonderful, clearly proud of the building and itβs history. They really took the time to share their knowledge about the cathedral, which brought the visit to life. The stained glass windows are beautiful and although the cathedral can seem more sparse than others that tend to have hundreds more years of history within them, there was a lot to see. The views of Liverpool from the tower are definitely worth it if you decide to go up. The gift shop was lovely, but we canβt comment on the cafΓ© as we didnβt try that.

Attended for the sound and light performance that was on for a limited time. So glad we went, it was so beautiful and well attended. The atmosphere was amazing and put one in the Christmas mood. The whole cathedral was illuminated and the music very moving. Very reasonably priced with friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you can next year!

I came here with my family in mid-March, and it was beyond majestic. Just approaching the main doors you know that what's inside is truly a sight to behold. We spent about two hours just taking in all the awe-inspiring designs, observing all the intricate features in the stained glass windows, and going up to the top level of the cathedral to observe a 360 view of this great city. The World War memorial area was a tearful touch to what must be the most beautiful of cathedrals. Some photos are attached as the testament to the glory of this grand building.

A stunning place to visit. I am not religious in anyway but I certainly appreciate the architecture and history of this unbelievably huge cathedral. The outside is a sight to behold absolutely massive. The inside is amazing the stained glass windows are breathtaking as is the rest of the place. Well worth a visit

An amazing building and great views if you take a trip to the top of the tower. For me however it just didn't feel very spiritual and once you see behind the scenes going up the tower you realise how modern a building it is. Would recommend a visit as the views were great at the top and easy to access with the lifts and easy to climb stairs.
