There is nothing to do, really, but amazing views and nice for walking or cycling!

Pleasant walking area on the banks of the River Mersey with views across to Liverpool. An interesting and calming place to wander.

Great place to visit. Great for walking the many criss-crossing paths. You could bring your dog but kept on lead or the whole family for a day out. Walk along the path by the River Mersey and enjoy any ships passing on their way to the Manchester Ship Canal or just enjoy the views across the river. If you feel like a walk to the summit then there are spectacular views for miles. Whilst up there listen out for the skylark's call as it ascends into the sky, a beautiful sight. See the raptors hunting for prey in the long grass of the slopes of the summit. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Nice area with great views of The River Mersey running between Birkenhead on one side and Liverpool on the other side. Ideal place to stretch those legs with a bit of exercise and take in some freash air. Walking, running, walking the dog, or even a bike ride, it's a great location with a great backdrop. The spot is literally at the end of a small housing estate and how lucky the residents are to have this at the end of their street, especially those to be greeted by this view when they open their curtains..

I really like this park. It's a used landfill site transformed into a nature reserve. It's mainly open space, there's a lake and a few paths leading to a peak with great views. It's run by a trust with volunteers and regularly hold event's. It's a young growing reserve which will take time to establish. Funding seams to be an issue and there's probably a fine line between adding furniture such as bins and benches and disturbing the wildlife. It's not a park where swings, slides etc would fit in, it's more aimed at a place to experience visually. There is a small car park (good or bad point depends on how you look at it) There's also a small activity/visitors center, I believe this is due for expansion soon. If you fancy a nice walk with good views and wish to see nature, this is a great place.
