   It's OK for non-standard wood you can't get elsewhere. However, the customer experience is fraught. Unlike most places, you dont go to reception to order. You're instructed to see a guy in a warehouse where customers shouldn't be really standing with forklift trucks going about , no safe areas or walkways. Then once you manage to get a guy in the warehouse, you tell him what you want, he'll then check to see if they have it, although it says online, which I'm told" there isn't any guarantee its here"then he writes you a carbon copy sheet, you take that back to the reception, who then writes you an invoice. Then you can go back into a busy warehouse to collect your stuff. Quite frankly, this system actively prevents customers from using MGM, as it is so convoluted and stuck in the 90's. They've obviously not got a very modern drive to update nor keep customers out a busy warehouse for health and safety. Also if the office doesn't know what wood is in the warehouse, or if they actually have it, even when web site they have, that's a terrible way to operate and is well open to abuse. I'll use again but only if Thistle Timber doesn't have it, as they have a great, hassle free set up. Prices ok and wood good quality for a positive

   Bought 6mm ply, turns out it was 4mm and warped to hell. Needed maximum 6mm for job and the product was terrible. Service was fine.

   Phoned for a decking quote, and as the prices were much better than the big diy shed and included delivery, an order was placed which was delivered as advised. All in a perfect service and all this during lockdown with social distancing adhered to during delivery. Easy to recommend.
