   Disappointing service, read the small print, opened a new account and spent almost £300 to get a £50 credit for next time. Turns out it’s for credit customers only and the cash customer is not as valuable. Shame because there was a lot of business coming their way. I’ll take my business and anyone else I know to a competitor, who actually have better quality timber and slightly better prices anyway.

   Massive thanks to frazer at the portobello branch in Edinburgh. I had previously been trying to get a price from another travis perkins branch out of Edinburgh . With absolutely no luck they didn't call me back or even try and get me a quote. Even though I did call them for 3 days. I explained the situation to frazer and he then called the other branch and got it all sorted out for me. And even called me back to make sure I was happy with everything. Customer service from him was absolutely spot on .thanks again frazer

   Writing a review of Christoph's service in the delivery of 4 x 4m (15 x15cm) wooden poles. Chris arrived promptly and I met him outside hoping that he would able to place these items along a small alley between the conservatory and the fence. Noticing that he would have to use a crane, I thought it was just not possible given the size of the gap and the no doubt difficulty in craning these cumbersome items. This didn't phase Chris, who calmly, quickly with military precision manoeuvred the poles perfectly into place. I was in awe of the skill. Seriously impressive service, if you are worried about a difficult crane manoeuvre with your delivery - ask for Chris !
