    Edit september 10th 25. Avoid really, got more unsuitable deliveries, they will waist your time and take your money. Project first delivery 21st May 2025, September 10th project still uncomplete. 2 stars : sales team and fitters. Great sales team, great finance options Amazing fitters ! Poor delivery, bashed unites, missing things creating delay and delay and delay. First delivery May 21st 2025, 18.08.25 project isn't finished not seeing the end of this. Customer service doing what they can with what they have. Complaint service : useless. Overall, wouldn't go back.

    Hi Wickes. We spent £400 with you last week and made great savings on materials however I've just been sent a £100 fine for parking for 103 mins at your store. It took time to fill 2 trolleys of goods. Can you get this fine cancelled as seems absolutely crazy

    I went for 4 tester pots of wall paint. There are lots of colours to pick from and the man that helped mix them for me came in about 5 minutes after asking for help which was good. Unfortunately they didn't have enough of the dark bases but the man helping did everything he could to give me the paint colours I wanted. He was great but I think slightly stressed because there didn't seem to be enough staff... However I'm not going to get all up in wickes edinburgh's business.

    DO NOT ORDER A KITCHEN/BATHROOM FROM THIS STORE. As soon as they take the money that's when the customer service stops. You will never hear from your kitchen consultant again. We've been trying for four weeks to contact them to no avail and our kitchen it still unfinished with multiple missing items, panels and issues with installation. Our consultant has never contacted us in the 6 months since we ordered the kitchen. Even Wickes customer service cannot get in touch with them. Our experience with Wickes and this store in particular has been dreadful. They are absolutely hopeless, never pick up the phone and only talk to you if they sniff an upsell.

    What a shambles. Apparently too busy to prepare click & collect. After waiting 30mins for them to find my order there were items out of stock even though in stock when I ordered. Hadn’t been to wickes before - this was the first & last time

    Beware if you don't live on the ground floor your order will not be brought up the stairs. Apparently it's in the small print but it's not made obvious at all - now I've got a 40kg 2.4mx1.2m board stuck at the bottom of 3 flights of stairs! 2 stars for low price and quick delivery.

    Awful experience from start to.... trying to get them to finish. Had my bathroom done in March 2021. They took incorrect measurements and ordered a sink unit that was too big then could only replace it with one that was too small... eventually had to get one from b&q and they did refund me the cost of the Wickes one. They also ordered 3 extra packs of 25kg floor tiles (1.5 was needed) , again, due to poor measurement, and refused to deliver to the door so I had 125kg of tiles to move up 2 flights of stairs myself, odd when they delivered everything else to the door. The job ran a week over, I'd moved in with a friend for ease, which they knew and would tell me they were there when they weren't....I'd go round to check in. Lots of snagging issues which they did fix in the end, they left all the waste in the garden for a week or so after finishing and I had to call multiple times to get them to remove it. In June this year the new spotlights broke, the towel rail came off the wall and the toilet detached from the fittings! I managed to screw the towel rail back on and fiddle with the lights to get them to work. They all broke again so reported it in July as it's still within the 2 year warranty. Initially customer service was responsive but full of excuses....they can't get in touch with the installer, I need to wait until they've given him a chance to respond, then the new installer would be hard to get managers had been on holiday etc. I'd asked if I can find someone myself to fix it then they can pay, I was told maybe but we had to follow this process first Now it's the end of September and they still haven't fixed it and customer service has been ignoring me for 2 weeks! The 2 year warranty is worthless. I've already had to pay someone to fix the spotlights and it looks like I'll end up paying for the rest of their shoddy workmanship myself!

    A brilliant place, I wish I had come here instead of buying a lot of hardware things on Amazon. The prices here are surprisingly low including this paint which was £10! They went to good lengths to control the number of customers and attempt to promote social distancing during COVID-19. Best of all was the staff; very helpful and lovely. Really enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming back. I really hope people look here for their goods before before going online. They have click and collect too.
