I came here recently and ordered 3 dishes. The food was ready for collection within 15 minutes of ordering so if I am in Bedminster again I will likely order from here again.
A one star rating is generous tbh - poor quality, expensive costs that doesnt reflect the cost and the quality of the food - not great tbh if the quality of the serving and food outweighed the issues I faced i would of accepted the refund for one dish being mising.....however that wasn't my experience on this occasion and won't be returning
Read the reviews before you order from here. Sweet and sour chicken balls in batter tasted about 2 days old the same as the chips and chow-men clearly re-heated food! Disgusting. I will never use this place again... Unfortunate as its 200metres from my house but paying for food that is clearly a day or 2 old- absolute cheap skates! AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Ordered the meal for two, which included Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, bbq ribs, beef in black bean sauce. All was ok/good apart from the sweet and sour chicken. Was really bad, tasted like it was left over from Friday (ordered on Monday) I wont be getting that again
Ordered takeaway. It was late by half an hour and the food was appalling. Food has spilt in the bag. Spring rolls were stale, rice tasted rubbish and stale. Batter on the prawns was also stale. It all tasted as if it were cooked the previous day. Worst Chinese I've ever had.
The Food we Had Delivered was Dry, Flavourless, without any sauce's as advertised, The Mixed vegetables Tasted Like They'd been soaked in pond water, the best part was the Prawn Crackers,, We contacted the shop and they assured us Everything is cooked fresh, then went on to say it tastes the way it does because the Uber driver was late, The driver delivered the order within 25 mins so was nothing to do with Uber,, The blame was passed, No care to fix the issue, the food is still sitting on the counter. Passion Is None Existent..
Fantastic food Really lovely Chinese.......not greasy like the majority can be Chicken satay and the crispy chilli beef were delicious
Really really tasty food. My favourite is the Singapore fried rice. The pork is so flavoursome! Delivery is really fast.
Absolutely gutted!! Sesame Prawn toast is so abysmal I am embarrassed for whoever thinks that was worth nearly £7. Deep fried for the second time, nearly burnt but not quite. Duck spring rolls contained no meat and very little of anything but dough. Chips as tough as cannon balls totally hard and shatter when you bite into them. Saving grace for my £25 hard earned cash we shared the Foo young! Won’t ever be eating from there again. Worst Chinese food I’ve had in Bristol
This is the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Ordered it online for a special occasion and they only delivered half the order. This has happened a couple of times now. I don’t like to complain and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. There wasn’t any meat in the chow mein and it was cold. Had to wait for the rest of the food to be delivered later. I rang to find out what had happened. No apology or explanation. Not worth the money and ruined the night. They sent a small can of coke!
