We have done our bathroom by b&q livingston, it costed us 7kΒ£ no tiles just normal size bathroom. It is just 7 months we see leakage in some parts. Which was not even there before. Highly unsatisfied. Job was not done correctly and they are very costly. When you go to b&q , their staff will design the bathroom/kitchen etc etc for you summarise the cost. And actually when they start works they will say ohh that thing is missing this thing is missing it is not included in cost so, you end up paying more than ur budget !!!!!

The older staff seem strangely unhelpful. I'm not discriminating, I'm older too. Today, the man at the wood cutting counter when I asked if he could cut down an already small piece said "maybe tomorrow, I'm helping someone else". Breaking up a group of 4 employees chatting, I asked if they would reduce a length of tile trim I was after because the ends were damaged and unusable " why would we do that?" he said. Because I'm not paying full price for a damaged length! "Oh no, we'd never do that". What shop doesn't? I shall think of every reason to avoid going here!

A big thank you to Lesley and the team! My online paint order hit a glitch and did not arrive, customer service and management were amazing and helped me source a replacement allowing me to finish my project. Brilliant team, all were helpful and friendly thank you so much Christine x

I was just at B&Q Livingston ordering paint to be mixed. The young man at the counter, Peter was very unhelpful with very poor customer service. I was told they could only mix paint that is already on the system. I ordered two colours, dulux colours in cherished gold and pressed blueberry which I had recently ordered from the same location couple of weeks ago. Peter told me the colours were not on the system and made it seem like I had made up these colours. Had to explain I had picked colours from brochure as previously, the other guy didnt have the first colour I wanted so had to pick one from leaflet. Peter finally decided to get leaflets out and I pointed out colours. He mixed the cherish gold but told me the system could not match up to the sample they had in brochure. Clearly, there is a lack of organisation and service standard as Peter seemed to think it was my problem that the colours were not on the computer. Rather than resolving the issue or seeking out help he just kept saying there was nothing he could do. Had I not pressed him to look into the brochures, I would not have gotten the paints. I have also now realised he has managed to sell me two different bases. Not sure why I thought B&Q was my only option for paint. Really frustrated and annoyed!!! Wasted my time and wish I hadn't given them my money. Went to Paint Shed and got superior service!!!

The staff are great, helpful and friendly, the store carries a greatly reduced range & I have to travel most times to B & Q Coatbridge to buy what I want thatβs in stock.

Popped in to have a piece of hardboard cut for a bath panel. I was greeted by Ian Gordon. He was fantastic in helping me out. Fast and very friendly service. Ian is a credit to B&Q.

Slightly smaller sized store, only popped in to see the range of Christmas trees available. The one we wanted had sold out and due to size there were none out the back but was able to source online for delivery. Staff member was friendly when we enquired about availability.

My first impressions of the store was really good all the staff was super friendly and helpful apart from one young lady that seemed to have a really bad attitude which I really wasnβt happy about, very stroppy, rude, my older children were with me and noticed it too. My second visit was more pleasant as she did everything to avoid me which was good! But I must say all other staff members are really nice and helpful and go above and beyond to help.

Like most B&Q branches but not that big compared to some I've been in. Seen to have a lot of stock including a nice isle of power tools. I could find the masonry bit I needed but I'll just get it online.
