My car was struggling to start so I booked it in for the same day. They took it in, fixed it, and returned it within two hours. Very helpful staff and a great service.

Easy book in for same day air con refill. I called to say I could get there earlier than expected and was welcomed to come in early. Arrived and served very quickly. Probably took less than the advised hour. Cost was £76 which wasn’t too bad either as the trip to England the following day helped us not bake in the heat on the journey there.
I was really pleasantly surprised with my visit to Dumbarton KwikFit. I drove in early morning with a puncture. The first young male attendant gave me a quick idea of how much it was to fix a puncture which was about £35 so I thought that was good value. A lovely lady receptionist then took my details and an older chap checked all my tyres, pointing out some gashes in the tyre which I knew about. I agreed to replace the punctured one. They offered a fit immediately with stock tyre or order cheaper for fitting later that day. The tyres coming were so reasonably priced I decided to replace the other one that had a gash in it too. Staff were very helpful, not pushy, and felt they were trying their best for me. When I picked up the car I was told that even the cheaper tyres come with a 12month guarantee which is helpful given the pot holes in roads nowadays. I was really impressed with the trustworthy service from this store and I would come back without hesitation. Previously I have used Kwikfit because it was local, and I have always been happy enough with the service, but after this last visit I would now use them because I trust them to provide a great service - only what I need with best quality and options at reasonable price. Honestly a lovely team!
Disappointed. Spoke Mon 0906am and again at 0931 am to check that they had the right tyres following a puncture to recover my car. Second call was to confirm I could not make it Monday but had arranged for Weds. Was told fine no problem call on way and will fit in. Feel free to check call recording, happy to give my number. Called Weds on way (first 100 miles of my 600 mile journey) and was told no way could they fit me in. Despite me reminding them of previous chat (which was denied) and being aware i would need hotels/delaying onward travel. Sorted with another very helpful Kwikfit who went out their way.
Took the car in for a free health check. Quick as anything (despite it being quite busy, and a small garage in comparison) and took the time to explain things to me and give recommendations. Friendly and considerate :)
AVOID at all costs. Will Never Take my car there ever again. Went there to get new tyres and was offered a complementary brake health check and done some major brake work paying over 500£ . 3 weeks later took my car to a garage for its MOT and it failed cause some issues with my brakes and i had to get it properly done . Very unprofessional and dishonest. Zero Stars
