I have been using Paul Dempster and before him his dad Bruce for years....local....trustworthy....Good value and friendly people... highly recommend...
South of Glasgow in the middle of nowhere on a Sunday on a Bank Holiday weekend on the journey to Newcastle for our ferry home, we had a flat tyre. Nobody wanted to help us, not the German ADAC, not the RAC, nobody. When we called Bruce, he understood our problem, took pity on us and immediately drove to us and called everywhere to organise a tyre and a repair. He was our saving grace and we will be forever grateful to him.
I took my car to another local, seemingly good garage and set up for a brake issue and to check all brakes and do what was necessary. I received the worst job and service imaginable and several re-visits for them to keep failing me. Paul at Dempster Bruce spotted and fixed several issues that the other garage for some bizarre reason kept missing. In fact the initial problem I took it for was fixed by Paul instead of the first visit to the first garage. Top guy.
Great reception. They were very quick to fit me in and quick sorting the car out . Reasonable price . Called me before they done work to the car to make sure it was OK to go ahead. Great garage

My car broke down close by and I was able to drive it here. Seen straight away, fixed same day and lucky enough to be given a car whilst mine was repaired. Reasonable cost. Thank you very much!
fantastic service every time, always go the extra mile to help, and prices are great. Would highly recommend! We don't go anywhere else with our wee Astra banger which needs lots of TLC :-) we also have a company car which has to be taken to a specific known chain and there's honestly no comparison between prices or service..
