   If you want some reasonable priced food Aldi is the place to visit. It has a wide range of food,vegetables and fruit. They stock a wide range of alcohol and wine all at decent prices. Good for parking and easy in/out access.

   I usually enjoy shopping in Aldi in Haddington but after my visit last night I was left very disappointed. I understand there is a shortage of vegetables, especially salad products but the empty spaces were dirty, empty boxes were either on the floor or left lying on the shelves, the floor in places was filthy and apart from the staff on the checkouts there appeared to be no one else working. This is a relatively new store and a good clean would not go amiss.

   Staff are the most ignorant people I have ever come across. In Aldi this morning Hamilton, and been told off for emptying my basket on to the begining of the conveyor belt. Just in case a trolly comes up behind me and I hold it up. I have 4 things in my basket which took all of 30 secs to empty, noone behind me or I would have moved up and the shop was practically empty.... how very dare you, disgusting attitude..!

   Loved the layout with lots of refrigerated products behind doors, and easy parking. It would have been 5 stars, but there were quite a few empty shelves in the freezers. I will definitely go back.

   Aldi is usually a great supermarket with great prices and good quality products, very kind and well trained employees. Today though was the worst experience ever. The man at the till was literally pushing my groceries towards me ruining my fresh products and not very nicely asked my hubby if he could help. He couldn't put the receipt roll well in the cash printer so he could not print me a copy receipt and the even more incompetent supervisor was not able either. Reminded me it would have taken at least 5 minutes to print a copy from another till... Not sure why since other times I had the same trouble and the copy was printed instantly. I left thinking how very rude personnel! If they cannot cope with rush hour then they should do another job or train them better.
