Approachable, friendly and very helpful staff. Steph the manageress was so helpful with our electric car and the Tessco charging points, can't speak highly enough. Scottish hospitality at it's best.
A large tescos with ample parking. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Opposite here is also a decent coffee shop so you can slurp a latte on your way round!

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS AT TESCO! I needed Google Play credit so I bought two gift cards here. One failed due to the cashiers error, and Tesco refused to refund me, telling me to contact google Play. Unfortunately it's also impossible to get a response from Google Play so effectively I've been scammed out of £25 with no recourse. Just putting this warning out there for others.
Shop is great but in the check out Louise just happy to chat with her friends, she definitely need a coffee to wake up , also not friendly , she should not work with public , till no 10 10 am Thursday ,
Security guard clearly out of order. Dog tied up for 3 hours? He needs a lesson in to calculate the passage of time
security guard tonight , out of order, tried to say i had my dog tied up outside for 3 hrs , even argued with me ,so raging , would never do that
I have shopped in many tesco stores and the Penicuik store is by far the worst for staff attitude and poor service. Often will see groups of staff outside front of store smoking too.
Got most of the things I was looking for, I did have to buy one different brand but that wasn't a problem as the price was about the same.
Everyday low prices trying its best to price match with aldi some great deals but they got rid of the best one the 3 for £3 on iced coffee that was a game changer
