   Dreadful. Usually long queues. It had SmartShop briefly, which was great, but now removed (why?). I complained to the Sainsburys Customer Support (no help there) but the web site STILL says is has SmartShop - IT DOES NOT - so long queues and no Nectar prices. The staff are generally friendly and cheerful but hassled by long queues. Dreadful.

   Seriously rude staff. Pay at the pump wasn’t working, and so I went inside and said the pump number. The staff member then repeatedly asked for the value of the sale with lots of eye rolling and sighing. £44 or £47 (I had no idea) and when I asked how there could be two options for one pump she told me this is how petrol pumps work in every store. Never in my life have I had to come and tell the staff the value of the petrol, it is always the pump number. She made me wait and cause a large line until someone came in and asked for another pump by only it’s number and paid £44.

   Following the successful format of existing Sainsbury's locals, this one does not disappoint. There is the added bonus that it has a petrol station attached to it. Situated on the A70 on the way into edinburgh. It has a well stocked shop, where you can find nearly everything you might need in a hurry. Good selection of food, along witgh beers wines and sprits. Price wise it seems to be in line with existing Sainsbury's supermarkets. So not the cheepest but by no means the dearest either

   Nice store with a good range of products. Only down side is the toilet for customers smells out the shop (although it's kept very clean). Unpleasant for the staff more than the customer

   Lost my car keys while filling up with petrol! Staff went beyond the norm, in supplying me with a coffee, a phone to call my wife to ask her to come down with a spare key and a paper to read in their staff room. The missing key eventually turned up haven fallen down between the drivers seat and the central console.

   Hit or a miss with staff - some are exceptionally polite, helpful and chatty... Others have faces like Bulldogs chewing a wasp. Queues build up quickly and floor staff are slow to react. Shelves usually stocked well.
