   I'm extremely upset about how my daughter was spoken to by the male shop worker. She was queuing for the Post Office and he referred to her as she to another customer, saying "she can wait" My daughter was waiting and had no intention of going before her turn. The parcel she handed over was bigger than a small parcel and he said "you've massively underpaid and pushed the box back at her, without looking up. My daughter was very upset when she got home. Shocking way to treat a young woman coming into your shop. I will now go elsewhere for shop/fuel and post office from now on. Massively Disrespectful.

   I was a stranded New Yorker in pencaitland. The bus never arrived No taxis.If not for the kindness shown at Spar I would have been in trouble. I am thankful...Lovely people there.Thank you

   Rather disappointing. Went for our weekly top up and car wash but the man behind the counter was not friendly when we advised the coin operated vacuum wasn't working. Went to wash the car and only to find the other machine wasnt working either. Was advised nothing to do with them dismissively. Will find another petrol station from now on.

   I was a regular ( about 3-4 times a month ) at this garage for petrol and shopping until last week. I had just come back from visiting my mum in hospital to find the police on my doorstep. Apparently when I had been in the week before and tapped my card I only paid for my shopping and hadn’t noticed ( nor had they ) that my petrol of £26 hadn’t been added on - what a total waste of police resources and a disgusting way to treat a regular customer . If I was going to do a runner on my petrol I obviously wouldn’t have gone in for shopping ! When I went in to pay the bill the older gentleman didn’t even look me in the eye or say anything . I won’t be back and they have lost a regular sale

   I had the misfortune of having a flat tyre, and limped to this station. I had no change for the air machine , I asked the owner if he could help me or even offered to buy something, I explained that I only had my Apple Pay and he refused to give me a token for the machine . I explained that if I drove to another station I would damage my tyre . Not interested ! If you can help someone and it was within your powers why would you not ! I then had to limp to the Jet station in Haddington, I asked for help , and the young lad lent me a pound , which I later the same day returned ! Unbelievable how short sighted some people can be !

   As a very good customer of the Spar shop and post office I was surprised just now when I asked to borrow a pen for a couple of minutes at the post office counter and was refused due to Covid, the reason I was given was that they are not allowed to 'share'. Is the cash in the tills not 'shared' card machines, petrol pumps? I have never seen these being sanitised before or after use??
