   My grandparents arrived back after coming from the hospital so I went to this Chinese as it was local to them and ordered the usual things. All our orders were wrong and the food was cold after 2 minutes of travelling home. I called to tell them and they said they wouldn’t issue a refund nor replace the items. The person on the phone was rude and stubborn. I will not be returning here again

   The food here used to be really good. But recently the salt and pepper chips have been horrid. Had twice recently before I decided to review. The Singapore Chow mein has also became more oily than usual. Maybe a new chef? Unfortunately won't be back

   I'm not sure the place is called 'New China' or 'Hing Tai', but over the years, the food has been up and down, hit and miss. Of late, though, the food has been exceptional and well worth the price even though I feel it's expensive. But better paying a bit more for food you will enjoy than wasting money on a mediocre product. Needless to say, I recommend this place...enjoy!!!

   Wonder if it's changed hands recently. Normally very good, but last night it wasn't the best. Chicken chow mein, with little chicken, soggy pork balls, egg fried rice, I thought was just boiled rice. It wasn't it's usual good value. The girl at the counter was good though.

   What a disgusting service!! Just picked up meal 1hr & 52 minutes late. I know it’s New Year’s Eve , but they’ve become greedy over customer satisfaction & not the first time. But I will say the food is excellent.

   The chow mein was amazing and so was the exquisite decor in the takeaway, however my evening was ruined when a wild Hong dived over the counter and attacked. He knocked my chinese everywhere so I had to fight back, we grappled for a short time until I gave him the biggest chinese burn. I will not be returning.

   Food is great but they only take cash and refused to give me a receipt. There was a small child who served me. I'm guessing under 12 because I along with about ten other customers had to endure CBBs on the television at full volume. I stood there waiting to give my order to the small child but they were transfixed on the TV and about five minutes later they asked if I wanted anything. Adult came out with my food about ten minutes later. Surely a Safeguarding issue?
