   Had been looking forward to trying our ‘local’ Chinese after a few years in the area but sadly have been left very disappointed. The spring rolls were very undercooked, pale & limp, as the heat hadn’t even reached the outer, I can assure you the inside vegetables were raw. The bean sprouts still had that earthy, raw taste, very unpleasant. The prawn crackers were good and the satay skewers average. I received the wrong order, chicken & mushrooms, I don’t like mushrooms and had actually ordered Chicken & vegetables. When I called I was told I’d ordered chicken & mushroom! Sorry but I didn’t, he said perhaps he’d misheard! Perhaps the wrong button had been pressed on the till as it’s the next dish on the menu, I’d prefer honesty. The Szechuan chicken was neon orange, like no Szechuan I’d seen ever, and was tasteless. The egg fried rice was fine but the salt & pepper fries, again odd. Just a bag of chips with strips of raw onion and green pepper?!? Neither of which had seen any heat at all, they obviously like their onion raw here. 85% has gone straight in the bin and sadly we won’t be back.

   Visiting locally and hands down the best chinese takeaway I've ever had! From the salt and chilli chicken, vermicilli Singapore noodles to the curry sauce, every bit of food we had was cooked to perfection. Not only that but the staff were incredibly friendly!

   Did not visit so can't comment on atmosphere. Lovely hot food, not greasy, beautiful prawn toast, excellent service even coming back with sauces they had forgotten. Excellent service and would highly recommend.

   We had food delivered for 12, food was delicious, hot and delivered really quickly. Service above and beyond. Food fresh and good portions not greasy absolutely perfect! Definitely will use again when we are back in the area. Highly recommend 5*

   For sure a case of not judging a book by the cover. Ignore the old school Chinese takeaway looks, the food here is really good. The pork and prawns were top notch, well prepared and full of flavour. The seaweed is some of the best I've had outside expensive restaurants. Good portions, decent value, really friendly staff too. If you are in this neck of the woods you'd be mad not to at least once.

   Really disappointed in the service. Ordered the takeaway for delivery at 5:30. Have currently been waiting 3 hours and have still not received the order. I rang to check the progress after an hour and half as I understand they may be busy on a Saturday night and was told it was with the delivery driver an hour and a half later and it still hasn’t arrived. Will definitely not be ordering from here again
