Great choice of seafood and other Chinese ingredients.

Thought they have revamped the shop. Now they have got a fish counter selling chilled seafood, like whole fish. They have got fish tanks selling fresh live crabs, lobster, whelks, sometimes with eels. I like buying Chinese kale, choisum, mustard leaves there. Their staff at the fish counter is super friendly.

Extremely helpful staff - even give recipe suggestions if you need -, great products, even worth for me to go from other part of the city. Keep up the good service! Thanks!

A great little shop. Its not a big shop, but it's well stocked and the staff are friendly. So much delicious food. Superior Oriental has become one of my go-to shops.

I visited the shop with the intention of picking up quite a few things as they have a great supply however me and my partner were followed around the shop by one of the staff and we felt very uncomfortable. It was so embarrassing as it was clear to other customers they were following us.

Super friendly staff (seems to be run by a young family), great selection of products. Open at convenient times, and has the best instant pho I've ever had! Love this place.

First of all, I have to say that I frequent the Chinese supermarkets in town because my husband and I love Chinese pork dumplings. This shop not only had the FreshAsia dumplings, but Hong's dumplings as well, which are just as good. There're lots of peculiar stuff including dumplings, the frozen eel and thai durian (!!! see my photo), canned and dry exotic fruits, teabags and loose tea, Japanese sweets, noodles, etc. The prices for the dumplings, at least, are 5p-20p cheaper than at another Chinese supermarket up the road. So it was worth a 2 mins walk to here. In addition, I was there a few days before the Chinese New Year, and they were running a 10% off promotion on all the merchandise. This shop is of a medium size, its two rooms were clear of obstructions, tidy and easy to move around. The owners are a Chinese couple, who're very friendly and ready to help. The lady explained to me that the golden symbols on the red square, which they had as a decoration in the shop, meant 'Good luck'. I noticed there was the basket by the till, filled up with the wee assorted colours bags, containing 2 sweeties in each. :) they were Chinese sweeties of course, and only 20p. could not resist taking one for my 3 year old! This shop has a warm feel about it, the owners smile and make you welcome. that reminded me of China.
