The store itself is really OK, very good selection of food (especially the plum or peach cakes, which are to die for!) and other produce, very nice staff, easy parking. The only thing is the location, I always drive up there, I'm relatively new to Edinburgh so perhaps I don't know the ways yet - but it just doesn't look like the kind of area I'd like to walk through after dark!

Although this supermarket is a little worse for wear on the outside visually , it more than makes up for itself on the inside where you will find hard working and friendly staff with a tremendous knowledge of the stores massive collection of Polish food and lots of other sundries. Well worth a visit next time you're passing.

Been regular visitor at this shop and always been very happy with all purchases until my last visit unfortunately , always enjoyed to buy fresh baked cakes or pastries when they have them, this time was very disappointed , first off all been charged more money than they cost!! i bought 2same type of pastries and been charged different price of each (they was not weighted so price supposed to be same for both of them) one pastry costed 1.39£ and other 2£!! and above all that , they was outdated!!! they had cream filling which tasted very sour as the cream was already bad!! And no it wasn't supposed to taste like that, as a baker I know the difference when cream is made to taste sour and when it tasted like that because its already bad and not supposed to be consumed.. very disappointed . would recommend people to check their receipts while they are in store, unfortunately i checked mine when I was back home already. Also staff should be reminded in which country they are, I understand that it's a Polish shop but it's not Poland and you can't just assume that every customer is Polish and speak with them in Polish language!! when I come to chinese restaurant they speak english with me , not chinese as we are in Scotland!! Very rude

The shop was the only shop in that block and immediate area. I walked into Stodola seeking a top up on my power key card. There was no one at the counter but I could hear someone working in an aisle further back, unviewable from my position. Looking around I could see it was a kind of deli shop, possibly foreign foods. I opened the door handle and left the shop.

A very good Polish shop. Nice atmosphere. If there is a lack of anything you can order the item you want. The shop is quite small inside, but the products are located perfect on every free area.
