   Bizarre experience where I was approached out the blue to ask where the cheese I had in my hand was. Showed the colleague it was on the self scanner as I'd just scanned and paid for it. Made to feel like an idiot, won't be back

   Entered the store and was met by Sam the cheery security guard, always makes sure I'm eating well, walked up the first Isle with him, as we got to the end we could see a wee auld lady waving frantically, Sam and I went over and she asked Sam to reach for the 1 litre bottle of milk she needed, unfortunately Sam, being just a little taller than the wee auld lady, couldn't reach it either, meanwhile, at the tills Diane noticed what was happening, tied more knots in her t-shirt (for aerodynamics) and sprinted up the freezer isle, with one stride she mounted the last freezer and flipped onto Sam's shoulders, Diane, balancing perfectly, urged Sam towards the fridge, Diane retrieved the carton and her graceful back flip dismount from Sam was something to behold, she presented the wee auld lady with her milk and walked proudly back to the tills while the whole store erupted in cheers, amazing.

   Security here will make a decision upon seeing you if your face fits. Of not they will follow you around and should you experience ANY issue at the self service area, they will accuse you of stealing and request to go through whatever bags you've brought in with you. I'd like to add I'm not a thief and have shopped here many a time due to its convenience, however they don't like my face.

   Very large car park so need to worry about parking when you get there In addition to this verify friendly staff and a wide variety of produce imho it would be better if you could try things before you buy to see if you like it or not before buying and wasting. Also there is a middle isle with power tools and every month or two weeks it changes to different products thanks for reading my review.

   This Lidl is located around the Westside Plaza complex. Price is great, similar to Aldi. You can get groceries, household stuffs, and some clothing and shoes.
