Overpriced both for fruits and veggies outside and groceries inside. Charged £30 for a bag of rice that only sells for £18 and deliberately not handing out the receipt.
Overcharged for basic vegetables (onion, celery, sweet potatoes) — far more expensive than supermarkets. Pricing seems unfair, especially for customers who don’t speak English. It feels like the shop is taking advantage of customers who are unfamiliar with local pricing or don’t speak the language. This is unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this place to others.
Rotten fruits still for sale. Staff very creepy, staring at me and not looking me in the eye, and even asked where I lived. Didn’t feel very safe as the only woman in the shop.
The sign on the shop says 10am-10pm, google says it closes at midnight. In reality 1am is normal, I sometimes get a juice or plum on my late night walks. I dont eat most of the things they sell, but they are near me and open late, so its a 5 from me! Keep up the long hours gents, it's appreciated.
Clearly overcharged for fruit and veg, which seems to happen frequently according to past reviews. So beware as there are still no prices on items outside. Man at front will charge a price out of thin air. Not a good way to keep locals spending as they will just go elsewhere to a place more honest. Which is unfortunate because they have a good range of fruit and veg.
Good place for continental food.
Good quality items, groceries at a decent price (cheaper than in other shops) and (FINALLY) a really kind and nice owner that doesn't complain if you want to pay by card!
Honesty is not good enough
I love this shop they have Indian stuffs and some African stuffs they even have palm oil indomie and many others
