Waited for a collection still am it's been half hour and no one has come and it's annoying and I'm getting fed up this isn't the first time and they need new staff or get more staff this is ridiculous
I have just left the Game store after waiting for 10 mins with no staff present. I had to ask a member of staff from the sports shop to radio someone. 5 mins later the person arrived as I was leaving. What happened to the Game Watford!. Staff used to be present, very knowledgeable and helpful. This member of staff was neither
I went in there to buy a Switch 2 case but there was nobody at the counter for 10 minutes. I asked somebody in Sports Direct and the lady in there said she will send somebody to the counter. I was waiting at the entrance of GAME for 15 minutes and still nobody came. Left without buying the Switch 2 case. Very disappointed.
Was in the Game shop yesterday about 3ish, no staff what so ever on shop floor or behide the counter, (maybe out the back), there was even no customers in side other then me. I was in there for good 15 to 20 minutes, I did not see one member of staff, (could of easy stolen but didn't just to make it clear) I wanted to get a game but had to put it back as no staff!
A fairly good sports direct with a huge shoe range the while shop was quite big. I feel the prices have risen a lot recently.
I went in here to see what the new game is like and it's really not that bad at all! There are still many games around the whole store in different sections depending on the console you have! The staff inside are also very friendly and are great for recommending different titles and what accessories would really improve the experience! I've always been here since a kid and it was great to revisit the place! 5 stars all around!
Not the best store I've been in. The service was very poor. After finding the game store within sports direct, I was waiting in the queue to be served. There were two staff and both were helping a single customer in front of my by testing a single controller. I don't get how it takes 2 staff members to serve 1 customer. Anyway, as I was waiting, 1 staff member left the store and the other was still discussing that there was no issue with the controller and requests a video of the issues faced with the controller. Then the lady in front says she need to speak with her boyfriend and on the phone she goes and the staff member waits, no attempt to even ask what i wanted. After 15-20 minutes I just left the store and buy the meta quest from Argos which only took a couple of minutes. My advice to the store would be to get some customer service training, work as a team to manage the customers you get, dont miss out on console sales over a controller. If you don't hit your sales target, now you know its because you're too laid back from actually doing your job.
Fantastic inshore experience. Traded in some games and purchased COD Vanguard for my son. Surprised with the value we got from the games and extra credit for spending instore. The member of the stores who helped was brilliant as well. Much better than those emo-rats in Computer Exchange.
Went into game Shop in Watford , purely for either a new Xbox controller or the new Xbox , and for some reason I asked the manager of the store Syed about the ps5 , and he knew everything there is to know about games and the difference’s all the consoles have ext , and he went through it all with me took time to go through it all with me , I left the shopping centre and spoke with my mrs and then turnd back purely because of how much time and how genuine Syed was.
Walked by randomly and got my long-awaited PS5. Syed was very helpful and he walked me through EVERYTHING - from which bundle to choose, how the warranty works, to how to claim the credits from game.co.uk that came with the purchase. Couldn't be more thankful to him. Syed switched between Game Watford and Game Borehamwood. I hope you guys would have a chance to bump into him too and have an enjoyable shopping experience just like me. God bless you Syed!
