'ASDA Warming 2 Sweet Chilli Kiln Roasted Salmon Fillets 180g' 'ASDA Zesty 2 Lemon & Parsley Kiln Roasted Salmon Fillets 180g' Avoid both of these products. They recently appear to have issues that cause stomach upsets. I am going to report the issue to the 'Food Health and Safety' department at Edinburgh Council. I am writing this review to warn people so that they don't get ill.

I get intestinal pain after eating any food or drink I buy, be it chicken, fish, fruits or vegetables. What is going on? This never happened before. We spend our money so that you play with our health? Harmful chemicals have been added in all food products especially Pakistani and world food. Last time there was something wrong with tofu also. You are wasting our money and health by feeding us such food. Now I ate this pitaccio kulfi ice cream and my health has deteriorated. Don't you people feel ashamed?

I placed an online order with them and everything arrived in terrible condition — the tomatoes were moldy, the cauliflowers were rotten, they swapped my meat for a plant-based burger, and replaced the full fat Scottish ice cream with cheap orange-juice lollies. When I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a refund. They’ve lost me as a customer for good. I’ll stick with Aldi nearby — I’ve never had any issues with them.

Recently visited to go to the post office as it is conveniently open late, rethinking visiting in the future due to the idiotic one way system they have implemented within the checkouts. Clearly no one thought of the customer journey and the way this particular store is laid out when they designed this system. Previously when we visited there was an exit only sign on the left hand door at the back so I assumed you could be let through the checkouts if you needed to go through to the post office as the other door is closed at the front. The staff member did let us through but told us to go through the other entrance next time, EVEN THOUGH there is no signage or anything at all to let us know that is the correct way. Honestly this visit was a master class in losing customers, I understand they need to tighten security but they need to think of a way to do that without making all your customers feel like potential thieves and unnecessarily creating a convoluted path through the shop depending on your needs. Do better.

Asda have implemented a system where you need a receipt to leave. The item I went in for wasn’t in stock so I didn’t have a receipt. I expected I could just ask the member of staff in the self checkouts to let me out. He said he couldn’t and I had to walk all the way to the post office and back to leave. I asked for a manager as this seemed ridiculous. Manager appears and I ask why can’t they let me out. They say it’s company policy from head office. Then they say I have to abide by their “one way system”. They said they would show me how to get out. They proceeded to take me to the front door and tell me to pull open the no exit barrier like a shop lifter to leave. Apparently this should have been obvious as they expected me to know this was the correct way to leave if I didn’t buy anything. If you implement this system there is no way any sensible person would do it without an override for people who don’t buy anything.

Asda Supermarket is a popular chain of grocery stores in the UK. With a wide variety of products, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, and bakery items, Asda is a convenient and affordable option for all your grocery needs. One of the standout features of Asda is its competitive prices. The supermarket regularly offers discounts and promotions on a range of products, making it a great choice for shoppers looking to save money. Additionally, Asda has a range of own-brand products, which are often significantly cheaper than name-brand products but are still of high quality.

Rude and incompetent staff terrible delivery they often use Uber . They make it difficult to get refunded . Even when it’s all their fault. Like many once valued British Brands , they’ve outsourced their customer service abroad and in Edinburgh staffed thrift shops with the thickest and rudest they can find . If this review gets ghosted I’ll write an even worse one on Pilot.

This is a largish sized store but not a supercentre, we were a little disappointed on visiting compared to other supercentres we have been in. There was an ok selection of items however there was very little chicken available on the shelves and there were some others items looking a bit sparse. The layout was also a little strange with items you would expect to be kept together separated into different aisles. It has been a few months since we have been in an asda and the prices have really gone up more so than other supermarkets for instance we now regularly shop in Sainsburys and I'd say they were cheaper on a lot of the produce. We also tried the McDonalds in store the staff were great but again the layout was strange with the food and drinks on separate sides of the collection areas.
