   I always get great friendly service from Kyla when I pop into Beets for my Vault City fix. I sometimes buy other beers and ciders too! A fantastic range of beers, wines, and spirits right in the heart of Leith. Recommended!

   I think even 1 star is too much . The mid age woman was so rude there and didn’t care about the customers at all. Need some serious training ! We pass that shop quite often but will never go in again !!!

   This is a great little shop with a very fine selection of wines (many not easily available elsewhere) and an excellent selection of craft beers (now including some pretty good alcohol free ones). If you are a sherry drinker, don’t miss their Leith amontillado. And take with a pinch of salt the complaints about rude service. Never experienced that myself from any of the staff. I find that if you are polite and friendly to people they respond accordingly.

   A terribly rude middle aged woman with dark hair served us today. We were passing and spotted a beer in the doorway that we hadn't seen since visiting Germany so we decided to pay the shop a visit. NEVER again! Barely an acknowledgement from the woman serving before she literally threw the card machine across the counter at me. Strongly suggest some customer service training, or perhaps basic interaction skill development. Otherwise a well stocked, if overpriced, little shop. I'm all for paying a little extra for the convenience of having imported goods in one place if the service is at least civilised. But not here, not that abysmal woman.

   Amazing wee shop with great staff. Great selection of beers, it's our regular and we often wander in and end up buying WAY more than what we thought we would. Best line: "What wine would you recommend?" "They're all excellent" 10/10 would shop here again. Love it.
