“Happy friendly staff, never left without what I went in for. Having the bakers inside is a god send some afternoons for a quick lunch or when we just want cake”
“The manager with the blonde hair Fern was so helpful, love to chat with her every time I come in the store. Always greeted with a huge welcoming smile”

“Local shop for me. Owner is a decent bloke and staff are great to. Always go over for juice and end up taking half an hour talking to them. Relaxed little store with reasonable prices and good variety of products from plastic cups to hair bands.”
“Very clean , well kept shop, very friendly and knowledgeable owner”
“Lovely little shop, the staff are very friendly to customers and willing to help anyone. Prices are affordable too”
“I'm a big fan of whisky. As a whisky lover, I wanted to learn and enjoy a special and rare Scotch whisky with a professional, rather than the famous or common whisky I've had a lot of. I came to this store by searching every whisky store in Edinburgh, reading carefully and choosing a program. Hector explained the detailed history of Scotland's whisky. It was so professional and quite interesting. Five whisky blind tasting allowed me to enjoy my original whisky without sticking to the label. This programs reasonably priced and highly recommended. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves whisky.”
“Fantastic store with lovely staff, all extremely knowledjable and with amazing recomendations. My only problem is that since I moved flats I cannot visit as often as I would like to ”
“Excellent tap room which serves food. There is also a beer shop on site which also sells merchandise. Seating inside and out and very quick service on the food. Plenty of parking available. You can book a table if busy but note this is only for 3 hours. We did not book and we were fine even though plenty of people in.”
“Amazing liquor store. Wow, of the 10 places we tried, this is hands down the best. The guys (I didn't catch their names) were fantastic. Offered tequila samples which were delicious. Were able to stock up on all different liquors and wines. Just a great selection of everything. I highly recommend!”
“Superb selection of beverages, with knowledgable and friendly owners. We came in for a small bottle of red wine and left with a box of different wines, Prosecco, and sake. Fantastic selection of beer and whiskey too, I noticed.”
“Brilliant, constantly updated beer list plus a very interesting selection of wines and spirits. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff.”
“Best brewery in the UK! Highly recommend the Edinburgh Gold and haven’t tried a brew I didn’t like from here! Wide selection, merchandise, food, and lots of gluten free beers.”
“Hands down one of the absolute most engaging and informative whisky tastings I’ve ever attended. The shop is modestly sized for what they do, and the caliber of quality and professionalism they bring to the table. These folks are bottlers. They are not distillers. Don’t confuse the two. The base of their operations is in Campbeltown. They own tons of barrels of whisky, primarily Scotch singles, but also grains, and other whiskies from around the world. This enables them to oversee the aging themselves. When they are ready to release a particular barrel, they bottle it. They have a phenomenal team of specialists watching over the barrels, because I swear many of their releases were better than what the distilleries are putting out there. What a treat.”
“Fin & Grape as recommended on Top Jaw had me trying things I never thought I would. Thanks Wendy for your great suggestion of monkfish, so good and very difficult to describe. I also got some fantastic sourdough, fries, wine, and the salted Yorkshire rhubarb parfait. Wonderful evening! Fin is the restaurant and Grape is the wine bar downstairs.”
“Lovely little beer shop, surprisingly good selection of wine! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a great place to sit in for a cosy evening drink”
“Great wee shop friendly staff , well stocked and the lentil soup is great.”
“Really nice shop, very good selection and advice ! We wanted to bring back local beers and they have a lot of them (Also, there was a very cute dog which is a plus ❤️)”
“Always keep an excellent selection of non alcoholic beers. Friendly, passionate about what they do and really know their stuff.”
“Staff were so helpful. Amazing Riesling!”
“Got a south African gentleman who was extremely helpful and insightful about his products, the price is probably one of the best around town for some hidden whisky gems. Had a thoroughly fabulous experience.”
“Had a great experience with them. We found a very rare bottle of the best whiskey I've ever tasted (not telling until the world actually runs out) and worked out some complicated shipping arrangements that required them to stay a bit later than their official hours. I couldn’t be more satisfied with their selection or their service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for any kind of whiskey but especially to people looking for the stuff you usually can't find in ordinary shops.”
“I don't even live nearby anymore and still consider it one of the best in the city, maybe the best. The wine, beer and cider stock is excellent. The wines in particular are very well selected, and the prices are very reasonable.”
“Nice little store with a pretty neat selection of cigars and whiskeys. The employee there was nice and helpful. I told him a cigar I liked and he then recommended me to another to try and it was delicious.”
“Great shop with a fab selection of goods. I visit weekly to post using EVRI machine. Staff always helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work! Thank you!”
