Oh thank you so much to the wise and wonderful staff at Cadenhead. Absolutely delightful folks, whisky and dram wisdom. We left with lots of bottles. May they be blessed!

Was a bit worried about possible racism towards Asian from other reviews but my personal experience was impeccable. The young woman—her name is Hannah according to the receipt—was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I can try every whiskies that I’m interested in before deciding for a purchase. High quality whiskies paired with faultless customer service, definitely will be back.

Saw some negative reviews from Asians purporting racism. Headed to this shop twice, but never encountered anything of the like. Staff I've encountered were pleasant, enthusiastic, and super helpful. Was provided many generous samples to figure out which profiles I liked, and the staff were pretty knowledgeable on the distillery characteristics and cask details! Bought more bottles than I thought I would from the shop, with one snagged off the hidden shelf. Will definitely be back :)

Hands down one of the absolute most engaging and informative whisky tastings I’ve ever attended. The shop is modestly sized for what they do, and the caliber of quality and professionalism they bring to the table. These folks are bottlers. They are not distillers. Don’t confuse the two. The base of their operations is in Campbeltown. They own tons of barrels of whisky, primarily Scotch singles, but also grains, and other whiskies from around the world. This enables them to oversee the aging themselves. When they are ready to release a particular barrel, they bottle it. They have a phenomenal team of specialists watching over the barrels, because I swear many of their releases were better than what the distilleries are putting out there. What a treat.

I went to Edinburgh in 2013 for my honeymoon. My visit to this fine place was the crown jewel for me. I bought a bottle of house whiskey, isla smokey, which was ultra petey and delicious. Tonight I just drank the final pour, about 9 years later, and it was absolutely glorious. Better than any other whiskey behind my bar (Coal Isla, Laguvalin, Ardbeg...). I am currently smashed and yet I still remember my visit to this place 9 year ago. Memorable!

Lovely shop to deal with. Really impressed with how helpful they were. Ordered from them for delivery and they were very polite and arranged my whisky delivery for next working day. 10/10 customer service

didn’t buy anything from this shop but it was recommended to me whilst on a tour. I went in to check it out and was pretty impressed. They can bottle specific whiskeys they have on hand in various sizes. Worth checking out if you want something unique. The staff were very friendly as well! Only bad thing is that they’re closed on Sundays!

A beautiful oldy-worldy shop full of exciting-looking whiskies! The 2 young lads were very informative and helped me to choose a whisky for my dad based on the branded whiskies that he drinks. The bottle we chose was very reasonably priced and looks so unique as it is an independent bottler. A lovely experience

This is the best whisky shop in Edinburgh. They have a wide range of small whisky bottles some of which you can write people’s names on, so the bottles make great souvenirs and presents. The whisky from the living casks is great. You should definitely go if you like whisky. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
