Really nice store. Clean and smart layout with all the latest north face gear. Cornelius was super helpful and assisted with a couple items.
Went in to potentially purchase a £700 coat, but they didn’t stock the coat I was after. I was looking to try the coat on as I was between 2 sizes. The young lad informed me I could purchase the 2 size’s I wanted to try. I explained I didn’t find it practical/feel the need to purchase 2 jackets at £700 each just to try on. I was also informed another store MAY have it. I walked round the rest of the shop, and as we went to leave I kindly informed the young lad it may be an idea to give internal feedback - With particular premium coats - get one of each size for customers to try on. This may help to sell more expensive coats, compared to mainly stocking up on what appeared to be cheaper options in store. Alternatively, you should be able to order in for free not at the customers expense, when it’s a considerable amount of money. The actual manager, I didn’t catch his name, but a person I believe to have been of Indian descent, then involved him self rudely, stating what’s the problem, when I was giving calm kind feedback based my experience to help better the service. Clearly no real people skills, I turned my attention to him and explains the situation, he said he don’t care, I can leave the feedback online…. Shocking response from a manager, some colleagues smiling with him about it from behind the tills. This was purely rude and childish if anything. I told him he is lucky to have a job with the way he has just conducted himself - And as a result I would now never buy a coat from the Battersea power station branch.
Very helpful and patient staff member today - didn't catch name - young guy who didn't make us feel out of place. Would recommend if you weren't sure what outer wear was appropriate. Thanks.
Quiet shop with 2-3 staff just for me. I had to approach explicitly to them when it was clear I needed help - one of them was on his phone. Little to no interest to sell and make the items even more attractive.
The store is well stocked and well laid out. Kornelijus was incredibly helpful. He was very knowledgeable about all of the products and helped us pick the perfect bag. Thank you!
