After spending over 100 pounds these people wouldnt let me charge my phone. I sent my two friends home in an Uber earlier, however I tried to stay till closing but once my phone died and i tried to charge it they kicked me out and said no changing. I find it very unfair to kick someone out when they are only trying to charge their phone. It took me over one hour to find my way as an american. The bouncers are weak and horrible people for if they were stronger I would not have my phone. What a horrible way to end christmas I will never bring friends here again.!!!

Went to see the Stallion gig. Met by friendly door staff and entry was no problem. Well stocked bar and excellent staff. Went down the steps to the gig room which was small but enough room for everyone. The sound mix and lighting was excellent and that was the main thing.

Bar staff ignored us, although had seen us and served others who had just walked up to the bar. The concert was great but really warm. Could have turned the air conditioner on earlier

Great venue but the sound was appalling at the Edinburgh Indie-Pop festival. Engineer didnβt have a clue, ignored musicians asking for things changed in monitors and the audience asking for the vocals to be louder. Lighting was pretty dismal too.

Amazing afternoon at Stramash with family and friends, including a 6year old, for whom it was her first experience. Sheβs hooked! She wanted to dance every dance, and loved dancing with βSantaβ (a look alike character). The music was brilliant! Canβt wait to return next year. Well done Stramash!

If you get past seal team 6 on the door you'll only get trash techno and Spanish snakes slithering up your legs. Am sure the bar manager shags in the backroom, as stated the gestapo on the door work with ruthless efficiency, just like hitlers chosen few.

The place is completely without a good atmosphere, dirty and dingy. What's more, what's even worse, the staff is very rude and seems to have no idea about how to approach the customer. After the last concert on Friday at the venue, staff and security kicked everyone out the door as soon as it ended, including women who wanted to use the restroom, and those who entered were urged to leave immediately. Completely no respect for visitors. Personally, I do not recommend visiting this place. There are plenty of much better places to visit.

Gritty but fun! I love these kinds of places. The staff were down to Earth and efficient. Even the toilets were OK!

Came to see Stray From The Path here and the gig itself was incredible. Thereβs a lot of history and character in the building and theyβve managed to fit a lot in. However, itβs a very small and crowded place for a gig. 3 stars because the womenβs toilets are disgusting. Like, grotesque. No seats, wet floors, toilet paper on the floor, paper holders broken, tiny cubicles. Horrible - no need.

One of my Fave clubs in Edinburgh - the Sound system is fantastic and the nights I go to NEVER disappoint. The Door Staff are fantastic as are the bar staff.
