   I have visited this shop twice now to buy cricket equipment for my son. I live in Gravesend so its a bit of a drive but utterly worth it. The knowledge of the shop owners is incredible and the advice they give you in selecting the right equipment is second to none. You will get items cheaper online for sure but will it be the right size, make etc. Shops like this are a rarity and we must do everything we can to support them. I can't wait to visit them again when my next son needs kitting out.

   My oldest daughter has just started hard hall cricket and I’m not knowledgeable enough to understand what she needs. Purchasing online may of been cheaper and time efficient but we wanted to make sure she got the right equipment. Rachel at Cook and Mathew was AMAZING, really knowledgeable and took her time walking through all the different options with my daughter from the pads, to the bat and bag; the experience made her feel very special. Buying online is more convenient but there are some things where in store with an expert can’t be beaten! If you need anything cricket wise and live in the area there is no where else to go! Thank you Rachel for making the visit special for my special 11 year old.

   Always fantastic service and advice. My son's bat broke within the year so Paul and Rachel contacted the supplier who have replaced it within a matter of days. In the meantime they provided a loan bat so he could carry on playing. I can't recommend the shop enough for all your cricket needs. A great local business.
