After trying many hairdressers in Glasgow, including the Rainbow Rooms, this is the place I chose to get my hair cut. It's always got a happy friendly vibe and the staff are all good 'cutters'. Highly recommend, great value for the money!

I regret not trusting my instincts when I arrived for my appointment. The salon was noticeably unclean, and I was asked to sit in a chair that still had hair on it. When I declined, the stylist used a hair dryer to blow the hair around the room instead of properly cleaning the area. It was an uncomfortable and unhygienic experience from the start. I had specifically requested a root smudge with lowlights a honey-toned blonde finish, but I was shocked to leave with ash-blonde coloured hair - the complete opposite of what I asked for. It was clear my instructions were not listened to. When I returned to the salon to explain the issue, I was told that there was nothing they could do. I was told that to keep washing my hair and wait for the colour to wash out which can take up to two weeks. There was no effort to resolve the mistake. I ended up going to a different salon, where they were able to fix the color properly. Additionally, the cleanliness of the entire salon, including the toilet, left a lot to be desired. Everything felt very neglected. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend
This is a lovely wee salon in the west end of Glasgow. As soon as I came in I was made to feel welcome, Aisha was amazing! She was so thorough when going through what I wanted my hair goals to be and kept me updated through the whole process. Could not be happier with the outcome! Also got a coffee which was nice. Such a relaxing and friendly environment. I will definitely be sticking this this salon.
I love this salon! Maria did my hair. She was very professional, kind and attentive. She listened to what I wanted and gave me options to choose from. In the end, I saw my hair revitalised. I wanted a change but I was afraid of it. Maria gave me exactly what I needed. I am super happy with the results and recommend this place!
I love it here! I've been going for nearly 12 years now. And wouldn't go anywhere else. Love the girls. Never not liked a cut or colour. They are beautiful wonderful chatty and such lovely people. I noticed a comment about prices going up.... who cares? Cost of living is going up, so is heating and electricity... unfortunately these things happen and the shop uses a lot of both. Doesn't bother me one bit. I still tip on top! And will continue to do so. Love ya ladies! Couldn't recommend this place enough xxx
Very kind staff, considering I hadn't gone to the hairdresser's in years, had tried to cut it myself in lockdown, and was rather embarrassed about it! They did an excellent job

I had a colour, cut and blow dry this afternoon and it was just the absolute best experience. I am normally a bit uncomfortable at the hairdresser but today Lindsay made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. I am delighted with my cut, Lindsay restyled my Bob and breathed some life back into it. I also love my T-bar highlights! Lindsay was really friendly, made me an awesome cappuccino and has made me think that I might just choose this as my regular hairdresser. The prices are very reasonable, the cut and colour very professional and Lindsay just made this trip to the hairdresser above and beyond my prior experiences in the city centre. I would highly recommend Volume salon and Lindsay and I will definitely be back. Thank you so much, you have made my day :)
