   There are many things wrong with the experience I had here. Firstly, the place was filthy. There was mystery stains on my apron, the walls and the furniture. The hair cut and dye itself is just awful, it's choppy and completely unblended. My hair dresser took a smoke break and came back in wreaking, she watched loud tiktoks while my dye was setting in. Worst of all though, she felt the need to voice her racist opinions for the entire time I was there. I do not feel comfortable with repeating what she said, but had I not had foils in, I would have walked out. She charged me more than the original agreed upon amount. You couldn't pay me to come back here and I am going to have to spend extra getting it fixed.

   If i could leave 0 star review I would, this place should not be allowed to open. This old lady who runs it has left my hair in a complete state! She also ripped me off as I had called to discuss prices that I seen on Treatwell, she told me not to book through Treatwell but to book through her direct, she then added extra money on! My hair has went ginger, no toner was put on the orange so called highlights and the cut had long strands left (see pics) and the roots were soaking wet! She said she tried to match my own hair, as you can see from my own hair the colours are totally different, I am having to pay to get this fixed! I then tried to call back to resolve this several times and she put the phone down on me! How professional eh? Quite happy to bump someone for £60 but not wanting to sort the mess!! To say I am annoyed is an understatement, I will be taking this up with trading standards and the NHBF unless she calls me back to resolve this.

   Worth the trip from USA! We have had our hair done many times all over Los Angeles in very expensive fancy salons, and nothing has been better than the work we had done at the Head Office by Lorna and Jackie! What an excellent experience and quite a good price too! Lorna gave Max an expertly tailored perm, and Jackie gave me a beautiful long layered cut with just the right amount of fringe (bangs to me). We had such a good time chatting with them both that the time flew by. Lorna is a warm caring person who went out of her way to make Max feel comfortable and happy during the perm process. She asked a lot of questions up front to make sure the perm was done correctly for the type of hair and the treatments that had been done previously. Lorna is a true professional and her many years of experience made it look easy to perm Max’s super straight, hard-to-curl hair. She expertly interpreted the haircut that Max wanted to go along with the perm. It turned out beautifully, and Lorna also gave detailed after care instructions so that Max could make the perfection last. After spending time getting to know Lorna during the process, she was so kind that we felt like we were family and wanted to keep in touch. Jackie also did an amazing job and was great to be around. She quickly understood my hair type and what I was looking for and executed the cut easily and expertly. I left the salon feeling like I was looking great. Now a few days later after washing and styling it myself, I can see the great quality of the cut and how easy it will be to maintain. Thanks to the Head Office for giving two Americans both excellent hairdos and also a wonderful experience of Scottish hospitality. We will come back as soon as we can!

   Lorna was the most recommend Hairdresser for Perms that I could find, and i am ao glad i did! Fantastic value, with top notch customer service and such a friendly environment. I was always made to feel welcome, with tips and tricks on hair care shared at every step. Such a knowledgeable hairdresser who you can tell really cares about her customer's, results and is genuinely passionate! Will definitely return.

   I had been thinking to get my hair permed for ages and I’m very happy I did it with Lorna Head Office today. They were so friendly and high quality of service. Lorna gave me some tips to how I can keep my curls fresh every day. It was my first time in this place and I really enjoyed my time over there and left happy.    Phoned late on Sunday to arrange an appointment for a perm. Was told to come in the following morning. This was my first visit to Head Office & I received a warm welcome from Robin & Lorna. I had taken my kindle to pass the time but it didn't make it out of my bag. Had a lovely chat & Lorna gave me a few tips for drying, maintaining & colouring my hair. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit & left feeling really good (which is unusual for me as i usually feel getting my hair done is like going to Tesco, mundane but necessary). If you want a good, experienced, friendly hairdresser, Lorna is your woman. I'll definitely be back. Oh, you get a great cup of coffee too!
