Went to the G Salon for the first time on April 23rd. Gillian cut my hair and I love it. I have curly hair and the cut really suits me. Clean wee place, and friendly staff who are helpful with advice about hair. I think I’ve found my “go-to” hairdresser.

Took my niece for her first hair colour and cut. The owner was very rude unfriendly and done what she wanted to my nieces hair .kept on complaining about people with curls wanting to wear their hair straight. Was unprofessional and instead of styling my nieces hair the way it was requested she decided to instead curl them giving her the worst hair style imaginable.
Knocked me back as they refuse to work with afro textured hair. Need I say more? Sadly this is a white woman only salon, how discriminatory and racist. Black women and mixed race women exist too and don't deserve such penalising treatment. Can hardly call yourself hairdresser's if you can only do white hair. How embarrassing. Especially as I have an unlimited budget.
Gillian was professional and I was very pleased with my haircut and colour.
