   First booking at this salon. Turned up on time for my appointment only to be told that the stylist I was booked in with had called in sick earlier that day and that I could either rebook for the next day or come back later the same evening, neither of which was an acceptable solution. While I appreciate that these things do happen, it would have been really helpful if I have been made aware of this BEFORE I took time out of my day and turned up at the salon? Called again to rebook only to be 1. given the wrong information about the dates that were available, 2. hung up on before concluding the call, and 3. having to call back and repeat my request all over again to someone who sounded as if they could have cared less. Needless to say I declined to book at all as I can easily find another local salon which will actually value my business. Really, really unprofessional.
