I booked at this salon almost 2 weeks in advance through treatwell on the only day I finished earlier at work and I do a normal office job. On the same day of my booking I have been told that the stylist to which I had booked my appointment with, was having a PCR test and she couldn't be in. They didn't try whatsoever to give me an other appointment and they didn't reply to my text anymore. I also live in front of them and once I came back home from work I could see they were also open. Couldn't they just try to give me an appointment with an other stylist? I don't think it's right what they did. They did well to cancel the appointment as the reason was more than valid, although they didn't give me a new one. And as it was booked on a Friday and at the last minute, you can see it was impossible book an other appointment elsewhere. I got my refund, but if this how they deal with they customers I'd rather prefer go somewhere else despite they have really good reviews as hairstylist. I was really looking forward to my appointment, what a pity.
Fantastic wee place will be coming back here from now on. Service was second to none and you get great advice on how too best look after your hair and what products are best to use. More than satisfied. Would definitely highly recommend.
My hair stylist was obviously very knowledgeable about her work and gave me loads of tips on how to look after my hair better. When I obviously didn't have a clue, she have suggestions to help inform my decisions. Really friendly and a great service for an unbeatable price!
Meche is a new hair salon on Kilnside, right round the corner from where I live so very handy. Went in for a cut and colour with Savannah who was lovely and very friendly. She recommended new shampoo for me so my hair doesn't dry out and it's already in better condition. Visiting again tomorrow for an undercut to finish off my hair style and make me cooler over the summer. Can't wait. Highly recommend this hairdressers.
