I would like to thank Sean at the running shoe section for his excellent service, assistance, suggestions. There were at least 5 of us waiting and he deligently helped each of us. He also looked up other stores to ensure I found the size I needed when this store didn’t have my size. Many thanks Sean I would not say the same for the other Indian Asian sales person at the hiking boots section. 2 of us went over to ask if he could help and he said to wait for Sean when he wasn’t attending to anyone

I booked my gait analysis online which was an easy process. The analysis was quick and easy. However, when it came to shoe recommendations, the lady helping me started doing a gait analysis for a walk in appointment, so I ended up waiting around much longer than I wanted. Moreover, the machine to analyse the shape & size of my feet was broken. The service was good, but it would have been better if one person at a time was served. They had a decent range of shoes.

Strongly advise you to stay away from this place. Awful customer service, man showed me one pair of shoes and didn't listen to any of my requirements. I then bought the shoes, wore them around the house and got blisters from them. I was then told I couldn't return them. Absolute waste of £180! Man on the returns desk was extremely rude and made me out to be a liar. Do not use this store, they will just sell you the most expensive show they can and not allow you to return them

Great service from the gentleman in the Runners need section. Went in on a busy Sunday without an appointment for gait analysis and he asked us to come back at 2pm. He did an analysis on me and my girlfriend and we bought two pairs of trainers. We took them to the counter to pay and asked if there were any discounts available and without arguing gave a very generous 10% discount. So happy with the service we will come back and buy our next trainers from here. They went the extra mile (pun intended!). Thank you.

I’ve never been a proper runner (having dabbled during lockdown). It’s always felt really intimidating especially when I am not at peak fitness. Zara was amazing in helping get me sorted, explaining what I needed and what was best to support me in my goals. The customer service was excellent. It was particularly impressive that she was dealing with two other customers without compromising in quality of interactions. So grateful to her and the team. Will certainly be returning to the store in the future, they’ve made me excited to start running

I just had a fantastic experience at runners. Need. Staff were super tentative and very helpful in finding new pair of running shoes for me. Also very patient with my indecisiveness.

I visited this store for running shoes as well as hiking one - the store employee Maciej was soo helpful - possibly the best person I have encountered in any running store - he was very knowledgeable and patient and gave great suggestions on sizing, models, fits for running and hiking shoes. He made the experience amazing - defn recommend anyone with running needs to visit the store and speak to him.

Having worn out two pairs, I needed to replace my running shoes. I had a voucher for Runners Need, and planned to visit during a trip to London. The Piccadilly shop was first on my route but it was very busy when I got there. I carried on to Covent Garden instead and was glad I did because I met Shad, He was really helpful, particularly in sizing since using a sizer he showed I was wearing half a size too small which was causing me the beginnings of black toe. He also gave me useful feedback on the treadmill which is used for informal gait analysis . They had a fairly good range of shoes, almost a ‘top 20’ selection. I was tempted by carbon, but was told that the benefits were minimal in relation to where I was in running form. I’ll have to run more miles then.

I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone looking for tailored advice on running shoes. I spoke to two members of staff and they were extremely helpful in analysing my gait and then finding me shoes that would fit me. A really positive experience overall - thank you!

Joke of a shop - the staff know absolutely nothing about running shoes and are not experts at all. Better off going elsewhere. I spoke with two different staff members, and neither of them knew anything about running shoes. I literally had to explain to them what shoes I want and why and why I am asking certain questions. And they still did not understand what I was talking about!! At one point the guy went over to his computer, and started scrolling the website looking at each shoe that I was mentioning, and just reading out the entire description because he had no idea what was going on.
