The staff I have spoken to at the surgery have been professional, caring and compassionate. They were very quick to recognise an urgent appointment was required on a Friday afternoon. Proactive follow up contact the following week from Dr Ma too. I was very impressed and reassured.

Anyone who claims to have had a bad experience with this surgery must never have been to many of the other monstrosities around the country. The doctors here are lovely, considerate and knowledgeable. The phone lines can be a bit of a wait of a morning but they always answer and if need an appointment you’ll get one. The ladies on the desk are great, as are the nurses. If you live in this area you’ll struggle to find better.
I recently attended an appointment with Dr Frances Boileau and I cant thank her enough. I have been unwell for a month and finally got prescribed what I was looking for. She was friendly, intelligent and very well spoken. Overall my experience with the entire medical practice at Morningside was fantastic and I can't speak highly of the team enough. Thank you again Dr Boileau.
Been attending this surgery for over 3 years. Sometimes it’s tricky to get an appointment even if you call at 8 on the dot so don’t always expect to get one the same day (might take two days of trying), although if it’s urgent in any way they usually can add you to triage for the day. The staff have always been friendly and the doctors very approachable and knowledgeable.
they actually don't answer their phone. Just called midday and you get music and then they hang up. Called twice, also booking system shocking try and avoid getting ill.
Terrible booking policy of only being able to get an appointment at 8am. If you need to take children to school but need appointment consider either letting your condition worsen until you need to go to A&E or moving to another practice. The reception staff do not care which one you choose.
Helpful staff who contacted me on 22nd December to tell me they’d got a cancellation on 23rd so I could have that appointment with the nurse. I was seen early and the nurse (Claire) talked me through what they were doing and what I should be aware of.
Dr Ma literally saved my daughter’s life with his fast diagnosis of type 1 diabetes and the urgency he placed upon being seen for excess thirst and urination. I’m so grateful for this switched on doctor. She’s now nearly 2 years in and doing fabulously. Thank you so much for great care.
Shoddy, even before Covid. Obscene waiting times make you wonder what the doctors are up to. Regularly late seeing you once there, with waiting times >40 minutes not unusual. Very casual approach to appointments and that's when you can get one. The most absurd appt booking process imaginable, where you compete by phone at 8am each morning for an appt 2 weeks later at the earliest. Didn't get one? Well, it's 8am the next day for you and try again. Not yet open despite widespread vaccinations and just seem to want to deflect. Try the pharmacist. Really? Rude, dismissive and defensive staff (the defensive text messages during Covid were hilarious) and they wonder why people get angry at them. It seems to be more about them than the patient. Huge service prevention exercise. Sort yourselves out. Rehouse some of your patients if 'overwhelmed' (hmm). The service is p**s-poor. Might be worth inspecting this place.
