Great experience at this knightswood Tesco great discounts and meal deals down side is if you go around 20:00-21:00 hours and you want a meal deal it’s very limited and drunk pepole are about on Friday and Saturday nights so beware around the shopping centre they have a new homeware section now. But overall a alright experience during the day
Usually a good experience in this store. However, tonight a female worker who I did not get the name of but was blonde and had glasses made a disrespectful and nasty comment. There was a bunch of people around the isle she was replenishing and she made a comment about the smell she had encountered. She had thought it was my partner and in a non discreet tone and volume she made her comment clear as day. Even if it was my partner the rudeness for her to voice her opinion so loudly is so disgusting and disrespectful to whoever it was emanating that smell. Not a good experience.
Its not far from wer i live so its easy access for me only problem checkouts never open b fore 8am its always self check outs which is a bit of a nuisance i can never work them someone always helps me other than that the staff r brilliant know most by name an always willing to help u at anytime Donna at bakery, Debs, & Amanda,usualy at cigs an lottery, big Chris at freezers ,Scot an Liz on tills r realy lovely in the store always ther to help an Rhuppa think thats her name so lovely she normaly on self check outs June who just retired was a gem
I bought eggs with a red stamp showing the expiration date. When boiling, I noticed the dye dissolves in hot water and may enter the egg even if the shell is not cracked. I'm concerned about the safety of the dye used. Is it food-safe and non-toxic? Please clarify to help customers feel confident about the product. Thank you.
I arrived at Tesco yesterday (10.08) only to find at least 6 staff (all male) standing at an aisle behind barriers. I assume this was because of a power failure of refrigerators. I couldn't understand why that number of staff were needed -one each end of the aisle should have been enough? Those standing about were not properly engaging with customers (in fact some of the language being used in their own conversations was loud and choice. A few f-bombs to say the least). Check out staff were lovely as always. The power failure also affected the freezers, and I hope the food could be donated to those in need to be used that day. Otherwise what a waste. Shop is OK. I find it pricey to be honest but there is usually a good selection of fresh and frozen food, as well as fruit and veg.

I Have used this Tesco for years as it is very local and the staff are helpful, but recently I have noticed that no matter what time of day or how busy the shop is there are only 2 check outs open out of 8, and a large queue at the self checkout which I never use through principal. Today at 1600 the shop was very busy and there were only 2 check outs open I counted at least 6 people in each queue and i waited over 10 minutes to be served, i spoke to one of the workers as I was walking out and he said they have cut back on a lot of staff and he is always getting people having a go at him about the time at the checkouts. For one of the companies that made a massive profit during Covid this is not good, I will be going to Aldi in Drumchapel as they have a better choice, are cheaper and even though there are generally 4 or 5 people at a check out you seem to still go through in about 3 or 4 minutes.
I used tesco knightswood for years now most of the staff are very helpful, though not all. But as of this week I'll be going elsewhere. There is a really bad problem with beggars, and of late they are getting more and more aggressive. Yet staff and security do absolutely nothing about this problem, I hope this is a wake up call and they will pull there finger out.
