Absolutely loved this store. I will definitely be back. Very nice employees, very clean store, a fantastic produce section with lots to pick from and more selections in other sections than some of their other stores I've been in.
Honestly I have no idea why this place offers a service on delivery apps such as just eat and uber. I have counted my 6 orders to either have been cancelled or seriously amended with removing items, replacing with items that simply aren't the same, making the order over all pointless, order things to make dinner and half the stuff doesn't arrive. The number of times I've sat for upto an hour then they'll cancel the order completely. They're a complete joke and should remove themselves from these apps. Nothing more than a waste of time, feel sorry for people who need to rely on these apps for food delivery and places like this morrisons have absolutely zero reason to be on here when they can't fulfil simple orders.
Expensive and not user friendly: -More expensive than Sainsbury's. -EXTREME lighting attacking your senses from every angle (lots of it strobing too), and lots of noise in the store. -"More Card" offers are just there to get you spending; they don't actually work at the till. -Only ONE till is open, cued out, and the cashier is very confusing when she tries to explain things. In older news: -During the lockdown stupidity they put a barricade round the entire building to prevent customers from entering (especially the actually disabled customers). -During the "credit crunch" they sold single 4 ounce steaks for £19.99 each (more than a restaurant)...
Disappointing recently. The expanded self checkouts are chaos, big queue of people despite there being 5 empty ones. One checkout open with huge queue. Zero logic to the product organisation. Charity hecklers as you leave. Baskets piled up at the rear of the store instead of the entrance, who came up with that genius idea?
How many times been there in the evening and fruit and veg shelves are empty. Also scanning different price than shown on the label as well. I don't think I'll return to this shop anymore, just not good enough.
Pork shoulder, which looked like 1 piece of meat, costing £7.66, was actually 2 pieces of meat, wrapped in 2 pieces of fat. The till receipt is barely legible, needs more ink. The till operator was very nice and also efficient
What a rubbish supermarket- veg is not good, shelves often empty, whereas if you go to Sainsburys a few miles away - what a difference - well stocked, good quality. And variety. Morrisons has definitely gone way downhill in the past few years. Will not be using it again from now on - just for very small convenience items only. To the manager - get a grip!!
Nice wide aisles. I visited at a busy time late afternoon, and managed to get all the Gluten-free food I had gone in for from their extensive range.
If it wasnt so close i would never shop there. They have 15 checkouts and rarely is more than 1 or 2 ever open , they force you into poorly maintained self service checkouts with 1 staff member covering a constant barrage of red lights and unexpected item in bagging area or faulty bar code issues , takes ages to checkout. Dont buy frozen food it will all have melted by the time you are done. Must make a fortune as well judging by the prices so just dont want to pay the staff i guess.
it’s five stars for the staff but really probably a 4 stars as my phone signal is blocked in this store for some reason, the hot food always looks like it’s been out so long it’s dry, salard bar is perfect. not my favourite morrisons but prefer it to other stores that can’t be named…
