   I recently had an ADHD assessment with another provider online and have started titration of medication at The Edinburgh Practice and I am very impressed so far at their professionalism and their treatment costs are reasonable compared to other providers. Their admin team are kind and understanding and I have felt welcomed every time I have attended the practice so far. I would recommend anyone considering medication for an ADHD diagnosis to contact them.

I cannot fault this practice, from my original call to find out more about their services to my first appointment was all very smooth. Their website is also very helpful with lots of videos around the different types of services that they offer, and is very user friendly. Fantastic all round and I am looking forward to continuing my journey with them.

   Very unprofessional. I requested a quote to carry out a capacity assessment. I was quoted £370 to carry out an assessment 'in practice'. I booked the assessment for 22nd Sept 2025 and received an invoice for £370. At the same time I received an email advising an appointment fee of £1125. When I queried this I was told - 'our process for capacity assessments has changed' - and - 'I will void the invoice currently raised but keep the appointment in the diary as is and will be in touch as soon as I have received an update from our Clinical Lead'. That was on 11th Set 2025 for an appointment on 22nd Sep 2025. At this point I had made very difficult and delicate arrangements to attend the appointment. One FULL WEEK later, on 18th Sep 2025, I received an apologetic confirmation of cancellation of the appointment with a variety of reasons. At NO point was I told of any qualifying issues in respect of the assessment - it was a fixed-fee service. This has caused significant distress to an already-distressed patient - you should be ashamed!

   My family member has an appointment with them, we scheduled and waited over a month. Everything was fine and we paid the invoice already, but they emailed literally 24 hours beforehand and said oopsies they double booked so they had to cancel our appointment. They had over a month to figure this out, including the time they sent us an invoice and made us pay the expensive bill, only to reschedule us to god knows when. As a clinic focused on mental health & more, they seem to underestimate how their mistakes can be detrimental too.

   Cannot recommend this practice highly enough! My son was having some difficulties after the months of lockdown and the psychologists and psychiatrist at the Edinburgh practice have been so wonderful with him. They have made a huge impact on his mental health and well-being. I’m so happy to see him thriving again with the help of the team at Edinburgh practice. I feel so supported and I know he does too.    I found my experience at the Edinburgh Practice amazingly helpful. The service and follow up was first class. I had cause to use a Psychology Practice when I lived in London but the treatment which I received here was far superior. I would definitely recommend this Practice to anyone with concerns or issues.    The Edinburgh Practice charge four times more than a psychiatrist I found in London to diagnose my son with ADHD. They know they can rip off Scottish people because CAMHS won't see your child (notorious for rejecting GP referrals), forcing us to use private services, so EP get away with inflated prices for urgent psychiatry. I think this is immoral.
