The clothing variety is good: New Look offers a wide range — women’s, men’s, kids’, plus maternity wear, basics, seasonal fashion etc.
10 min wait in queue 15min wait for parcel, with not even an apology for the long wait. Unprofessional staff, taking the mic out of a “short” “what’s her name” staff, “maybe she’s fallen down a hole”. Guy working on a faulty till that didn’t print till receipts or have a card machine with a working screen, yet kept moving from a fully working till to the till that wasn’t working properly. The lady next to me asked to use her blue light discount and was told “you should have told me at the beginning” Completely unprofessional - it’s not the customers fault that your till system can not distinguish between sale and non-sale items. If it’s that much of a problem there should be signs up - how are customers meant to know!? More staff floating around shop floor than on the tills despite big queues - this is the case pretty much every time I’ve visited. Staff don’t seem bothered about long queues. Arguing with customers who bring up the fact they’ve been waiting for a long time and making excuses, despite staff doing nothing on the shop floor. And then when the customer leaves, moaning to colleges infront of staff about the customer. If more than one person provides the same feedback, perhaps it should be taken on board and not argued with excuses made.
Be extra careful shopping at this outlet. They overcharged me and when I requested for a refund staff was rude. Items were discounted but got charged the full price and refund process was ridiculous. Just triple check before paying, staff just scan the item without even noticing whether the discounted price is scanned.
The lamps above the till are full of dust and just genuinely dirty. When i asked for a paper receipt the lady at the till made it seem like a big hassle. i understand you want to save the environment but if i’ve specifically said i want a paper receipt i’d like a paper receipt
Plenty of choice and staff were very helpful.
My partner has received exceptional customer service on recent visits. The staff (of which there are plenty) will search the store for her to try to find just what she wants, and they are very friendly and helpful in the changing room area. Last night at the tills she was still undecided which of the items she'd got in her hands she should purchase, and then whether or not it was better to use her NHS discount or the multibuy offer. The young man supervising the tills was extremely patient and helpful (Dec 8th, 2021).
There are almost always a large variety of styles and products in this store. When they have sales you can almost guarantee you’ll find a bargain. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. The generation section has lots to offer too.
This shop is full of clothes. Not easy to get around with a wheelchair or buggy especially when busy. Staff really helpful and they even smile. Changing rooms could do with being bigger, the largest was still a little light for a wheelchair.
