If I could give this store less stars I would. Do not go here if you plan on using a credit card from the USA. I purchased a skirt and after I inserted my credit card (and signed the receipt) I was told the card did not go through. I called my credit card company in front of them and it was confirmed that the transaction did indeed go through. They stated they have had similar issues with cards from US and needed to call their IT department. It was later in the day and they said they need to “confiscate “ my purchase until it was resolved. They took my phone number and email and said they would contact me. I haven’t heard from them but the transaction is still on my card and they have the skirt. Basically they stole from me. The women were arrogant and condescending. I had a friend with me who witnessed this also. Maybe the store should review their video cameras to work on customer service. Too bad for Whistle because the clothing is actually nice. I am disputing this with my credit card company. Don’t shop here if you plan on using a credit card. They need to update their technology and stop ripping customers off.
Visited on Thursday with my daughter. Looking for a dress to wear for my son’s wedding in Ibiza in October. Had visited a couple of shops first. Nothing suitable so we thought we’d try Whistles. Wonderful shop. Loved loads and with my daughters help bought 3 dresses!! Everything fitted and looked good I bought 2 dresses and my daughter bought me another one. I was so happy as I can never find a suitable dress. Really looking forward to wedding now. Thank you Whistles xx Only problem will be resisting your suggestions for other beautiful Whistles fashion.
All the staff in Whistles Bath are truly wonderful, I love them! It is my go to shop for everything because the service is so exceptional. Friendly, helpful, professional fashion advisors and really good fun too. A real credit to your business.
Went in with my husband this week and had excellent service.... Only bought a jumper but was treated with lots of attention... Angie served me and kept on going up to the stockroom for me lots of times.... The girl with shorter dark hair behind the till also helped and answered honestly when she thought something didn't fit me right... Great service, will be back.
I will never shop here again and will advise all my friends to try the great retailers with lovely and relaxed customer service that Bath has to offer. I went to Whistles to buy a dress and I was shocked by the patronising manner in which a member of the staff spoke ( learned that her name was Jane) to me and other members of the staff. Instead of a clear focus on customer service she was giving instructions to other members of the staff in a way that was not only innapropriate but that could enter the category of bullying. She was bullying her colleagues in front of my eyes. Whistles should seriously get things straight. All that customers want is a relaxed experience.
I just want to say what marvelous service I have received from two members of the team at the Whistles shop in Bath. Everyone in the shop is friendly and helpful, but Cat and Chloe have really gone out of their way to help me over the last few days. Firstly. they tracked down a pair of shoes I had set my heart on, the only remaining pair in my size. Then they were most helpful when the delivery went slightly awry, taking the time and trouble not only to phone the source store, but also to chase up the delivery company. I now have the delightful shoes in my possession and on my feet and I could not be happier. Excellent customer service!
