I wanted to pay with klarna in store and I’d never done it before and he very helpfully showed me how to do it in a way where I didn’t feel stupid. The payment at the till took much longer than I thought it would because I had to verify my bank account. He was very patient in saying “it’s okay you don’t need to rush there’s no one waiting” and he was understanding in the sense that these things happen. “Had a great experience choosing a new pair of running trainers at Runners Need. The girl I spoke to really listened to my very specific requirements and talked me through the best options. She was very knowledgeable and patient and knew a lot about energy gels/fuelling too. I went with a pair of On trainers (plus gels) and absolutely love them! I ran for an hour outside in them with no problems and finished feeling very happy with my new kicks. Thank you”

I sustained a brain injury which makes judging if things feel better or worse nigh on impossible so wouldn’t be able to give the normal feedback, his expertise and vast experience meant that he recognised a significant hip issue, which I wasn’t aware of, and several bike fit problems and he did it all with good humour and put me totally at ease. “In August this year, I visited Hobbs on Milsom Street to buy a smart black dress for my Father's funeral ( having failed to find anything but flimsy summer dresses elsewhere on the High Street!) The reason for this review is not for the clothes (we know Hobbs clothes are well-made and fit great) but for the service I received, especially at such a sad time. Michele was wonderful - such a kind lady, willing to help, advise, fetch other options and just listen. She made me feel like I was her only customer that morning, with none of the 'hard sell' you might get elsewhere. I felt smart at the funeral, that I did my Dad proud. I told the funeral guests the story behind my dress, and the wonderful Michele, when they complimented my dress. Thank you!”

“My daughter is very tiny, I was told from other places she would need a flower girl dress were she is so small. I got hold off Ann via instergram she booked us in there and then went to view the amazing dresses, my daughter explained what she wanted and Ann got them out my daughter was treated like a princess. She found her dress Ann ordered it in the colour my daughter wanted. We went to pick it up today my daughter had knee surgery last month Ann was very patient allowed my daughter to take her time to try her dress on. I'm gutted I won't be able to experience this again but Ann made the experience amazing and one to remember. Thank you so much for helping me get my daughters dream dress.”

“I searched for a local lingerie shop to get a fitting and purchase some bras. The shop itself is clean and well laid out, and the service staff are warm and welcoming. I was taken into a pretty changing room and brought an array of bras one at a time to try on and gage what size I was. Each bra fit perfectly after we established what size I required. The lady attending to me has an eye for fashion and what suited my frame. Unfortunately, the bras were outside of my current budget, but despite that the lady serving me was absolutely lovely, informed me about their gift card options and treated me with dignity. Fantastic service and lovely service staff. Once I'm in a position to treat myself I intend to visit again.”
