In August this year, I visited Hobbs on Milsom Street to buy a smart black dress for my Father's funeral ( having failed to find anything but flimsy summer dresses elsewhere on the High Street!) The reason for this review is not for the clothes (we know Hobbs clothes are well-made and fit great) but for the service I received, especially at such a sad time. Michele was wonderful - such a kind lady, willing to help, advise, fetch other options and just listen. She made me feel like I was her only customer that morning, with none of the 'hard sell' you might get elsewhere. I felt smart at the funeral, that I did my Dad proud. I told the funeral guests the story behind my dress, and the wonderful Michele, when they complimented my dress. Thank you!
I took my mother in law into Hobbs in Bath today to find a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding. The service we received was fantastic. All the staff were really attentive and they brought dresses from the storeroom to try on too. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Michele served us and helped us choose the right dress. In readiness for my Nieces wedding I booked a Hobbs VIP appointment in March. The staff were fabulous helping my Mum and I select dresses for this special occasion. I would never have tried this dress on without their encouragement and absolutely fell in love with it. This photo was taken as my hat blew off and I turned to catch it! I love how it shows the flow of the dress. On the day both my Mum and I received compliments about our Hobbs outfits. Thank you to the Management and Staff at Bath Hobbs, I can recommend them highly.
Wonderful customer service from all the staff here, particularly Marie and Tina. Went down on holiday for a few days and just taking a look and because of their attitude and brilliant help ended up buying my wedding outfit for this Summer. Hobbs is a favourite brand of my wife. The shop in Bath is staffed by lovely ladies who take pity on grumpy husbands and provide excellent service for the ladies. So nice and so rare these days to have quality service. Staff at Hobbs Victoria take note.
Hobbs is one of the best places to shop in Bath. Their style is very classy and the quality of their clothes is very good. If you've a curvy body, this is the place for you. I visited during the busy time before Christmas and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Alice at the till was very polite and helpful.
