Just the loveliest and nicest folks! I had a bad shoe bite and we came in to get some socks and the staff were so helpful, even running to fetch a wet cloth to wipe off my shoe so they wouldn’t get permanently stained. Please buy from here!
They hold all the major brands and models - but have very limited colours and sizes. Staff are unable to order in if they don’t have what you need and then are disgruntled/rude when they can’t sell to you. I would love to support small businesses like this in Bath but it’s hard when they are inflexible and don’t build trust - faced with the fact that variety direct from brands is more varied and they don’t keep up with the offering.
Went to Running Bath today to ask for a pair of running shoes to suit my (recently diagnosed) dodgy foot. Steve, who served me, was incredibly helpful - knew exactly what I needed and found me the perfect pair. Regrettably couldn't buy today (waiting to find out if surgery imminent) but will be straight back there as soon as I have the ok. Great choice of shoes, good professional knowledge and friendly help. Thank you!
Do not give refunds! States hassle free returns Absolutely not true Panic bought 2 pairs that where recommended to me spending £385 For a race (that was cancelled ) had limited time took the plunge got home felt they weren't right tried to return 2 days later unused and was told they don't do refunds! And I could get a exchange or store credit feel so let down by this store that I try to support instead of buying online but unfortunately will not be buying or recommending this store again
This is a superb running shop, staffed by very knowledgeable, professional staff who are keen on all things running and really know their stuff. I have got a place in the London marathon and needed a new set of trainers for my peculiar running style. The staff spent a long time with me, trying on various types of trainers and assessing my running style/problems. I selected a pair and 50 plus ks later I am very very happy with them. If you are a runner or jogger like me this is the place to go for all your running needs.
Cannot recommend this team highly enough. I was a nervous customer returning to running after far too long. I had also had an extremely painful foot injury which was a massive concern. Their superb advice and attention to detail was invaluable. They have the knowledge, years of experience and great personalities to support everyone from a beginner (Couch to 5k highly recommended) to elite athletes. I came away confident that I had exactly what I needed, my running shoes were properly fitted and I haven't looked back. Thank you to all the staff for your help and excellent customer service.
This shop has a great reputation so think I was unlucky. Great selection of styles but the chap who bought me the ones I wanted to try on seemed terrified of human interaction, didn't ask me any questions about what I needed, didn't offer gait analysis, and didn't have anything to tell me about any of the models. So I have shoes that I like the look of - much like if I'd purchased online. Time will tell if the lucky dip approach works. Nobody likes a hard sell but I did want to be sold to *a bit*. I get the impression the shop is staffed by hardcore runners who maybe don't appreciate how overwhelming the selection can be to a less experienced and less regular runner.
The staff in this shop were exceptional! I visited to get my gait analysed with the intentions of buying some new running shoes before I travel to Australia in September. All the staff members were incredibly informative and deeply insightful to all the technicalities to the technology behind the shoes to help choose the best one for me! It was a very relaxing experience with friendly chats with the staff at all times! I was able to try on several pairs before making my final decision which has never been easier! 10/10 customer service and would highly recommend to anyone needing to know anything running!
