A cornucopia, a veritable smorgasbord of hardware items, from brass door furniture and hearth tools to drain cleaner and a wide variety of potions designed to deter the moths which are so prevalent in the area, notwithstanding the local weaving industry was but a brief flowering in the 1700s. Not so old-fashioned as to flout a grid of labelled brown drawers containing wax paper wrapped specialities, the shop nonetheless provides a university of domestic necessities. Helpful and friendly, the counter can also provide and service pocket knives, including Opinels, from legal EDC to garden tool dimensions. Recommended.

Don't go all the way to Wickes until you've checked if Dean has it in the shop in Bradford. It's amazing how much stuff he packs in and prices are the same or cheaper than Wickes or eBay
