   The service was warm, Prompt and each part of the test procedure was explained and completely stress free. The optical staff were very professional but also very friendly. No pressure was brought to bear on my choice of frames either. The choice was mine, with advice given when requested. It was, as always, a calm and unhurried experience which would have not been stressful, even to anxious customers. I have long been a customer of Specsavers, as have the rest of my family (including our younger son, who has been a customer since he was a very small boy). It has always been a relaxing, professional experience for all of us. (My younger son, now a grown man with a wife, is still a customer). I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

   The staff were friendly, greeted me as soon as I entered, and gave clear instructions. The initial examination was carried out quickly and again the attendant explained at each stage what was being examined and why. There was a young trainee present and the attendant explained this to me, and carefully outlayed to the trainee what was happening and how to use the equipment. The main examination was carried out by an optometrist who was very thorough, took me over all the results, and did not exert any pressure to purchase new glasses as my prescription had only slightly changed. She was also able to help me with a treatment for an eye condition unrelated to my eyesight. So overall I was very well treated and happy with the staff.

   Right away felt very welcomed. The staff were extremely friendly and swift with their welcome/greeting to the store. Asked right away how they could help and sat me down in the waiting area for my appointment. The 2 ladies who helped me were kind and considerate, made the eye test as simple as possible and comfortable. The lady performing the eye test was lovely and made the visit pleasant. Only slight change to my eyesight despite it being 7 years since my last eye test. Overall a great experience, nothing negative to say other than how busy the store was. This to me was off-putting and actually caused me to not look through the selection of glasses available, however this an is issue on my behalf and not the store. Thanks again for all the help and kindness.

   I was very happy with the optometrist who did my tests. I was advised I needed new lenses to be fitted in my existing frames. I offered my frames to someone to be told No, we don't need them, just bring them in with you when you come. I arrived back a few days later, just after 4pm to be told that the lab shuts at 4pm so they can't fit the new lenses, and it takes an hour! I had had to pay for parking, walk all the way to the shop then back again, then repeat the next day. How annoying! Why didn't anyone tell me I had to be there by 3pm? Why didn't they accept my glasses when offered? I rarely wear them so it wasn't a problem but they never asked.

   What a tremendous place spec savers Kirkcaldy high street is ! My mum, Jennifer has been going for years to this shop and I now know why ! 2 weeks ago mum and I went for glasses . We both had eye tests and paid a very modest sum of money to have a more thorough eye screen / scan done .A great investment to check your eye health and see what’s going on . Mum has had 2 brain haemorrhages over last 2 years and so going to appointments where lots of dialogue and questions are required is particularly difficult for her due to brain injury . Processing questions and then responding is hard for her and requires patience , understanding and care . The optometrist and assistants were terrific with mum. mindful , considerate and so helpful . We made an error in choosing a frame that with her thicker varifocal lenses were too heavy for mum and that was only apparent once they’d arrived .The staff could have. Been more patient trying to Improve the fit however after leaving and going for a walk around the shops , coming back to shop twice to adjust , they advised mum that it would be better to just get a different frame due to weight of her lenses . All this at no additional Cost and it was their suggestion not at all Ours . I felt I had been responsible for encouraging mum to try a newer style frame which she did but it was not the right choice as comfort is key and the glasses we had selected really made her nose uncomfortable. The assistant took mum and patiently went through options that would ensure her comfort even with the heavier lenses . They even allowed my daughter and I to go and get the car and bring it outside the shop to save mum a trek up the hill as by this time she was cold , tired and it was dark . They took great care of her and assured her it was no trouble and that there was no cost to her exchanging her frame ( mum Was worried she would be getting something she wasn’t entitled to ) My own experience was terrific , I got 2 pairs for price of 1 and the lady who helped me was terrific by helping me find this best options for me . We got top class treatment, eye exams, assistance and constant reminders that we could go back at anytime Within a specified time Scale to resolve and change if any issues . Premium treatment , premium glasses at a modest price . Thank you so much to This terrific team. I can’t recommend highly enough .
