I went in store to see if I could get emergency appointment. I had an acute eye infection. I only had to wait 30 minutes. Time enough to grab a quick coffee next door while i waited. Was seen and my eye examined. Was given treatment advice. Hazel was excellent. She was genuinely concerned and asked that I return the following day to double-check integrity of eye structure. All good. I did, and she asked for second opinion of colleague who was helpful. They recommended oral antibiotics as well as the antibiotic ointment, bathing and eyelid massage. They called QM Hospital to check which antibiotics as I am allergic to the main ones. All good. Treatment is working and I am now, finally, seeing a little improvement. Thank you, Hazel and team. You guys are great!
Aoife was very professional, taking time to explain everything in relation to my sight tests and the images of my retinas etc. She recommended and explained about particular lenses that may help and I trusted her. She prescribed treatment for dry eyes and was very courteous and helpful as was the entire team from making the appointment to collection of my spectacles.
From the minute I walked through the door, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Any questions were answered in full and very quickly. All tests were explained in full and the staff made me feel at ease. I have been going to this store for years now and I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else
I was made to feel listened to, valued and felt welcomed. During my examination, everything was explained clearly to me. Once I was handed over to choose my glasses, I was supported in a friendly, calm manner. I was unhurried and given time and space to select. On returning to collect my glasses, I was welcomed, made to feel comfortable and again unhurried. When there was a wee mishap, staff dealt with it beautifully. This is the first time i required glasses and it was a very positive experience thanks to the staff.
(Writing this for my husband). Mistake was made with my eye test. Didn't find this out until after having 2 pairs of glasses made. One of which were my sunglasses. Glasses were hopeless so went back to wearing my old ones. My wife persuaded me to complain. I had a retest and the prescription was totally different! Got one pair of glasses replaced to the new prescription but they refused to do my sunglasses which are no good to me now through no fault of my own. Pretty poor customer service in my opinion. Won't be back I'm afraid.

Busy shop so would recommend booking an appointment. Friendly staff and very helpful. They have a vast selection of frames from £49 upwards including designer. Give yourself at least an hour when booking an appointment tho!
