   The single room was great value for money for my solo trip. The room and bathroom were super clean and comfortable. Although the location is outside the city center, there is a regular bus service nearby. Definitely recommended!

   In an expensive city like Edinburgh Sonas is probably the best place to stay. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, it felt like staying at my grandma’s house. They offer room service and will leave a breakfast bag at your door everyday which we weren’t expecting. They’ll also recommend good places to eat around town. The area is quiet and very convenient, a 20min walk to the old town or 2min walk to the bus stop. Would definitely stay again ❤️

   Sonas is the best place to stay in Edinburgh! It's located in a quiet neighborhood not a far walk from city center. There is a great place for breakfast 3 minutes away. The room we stayed in was gorgeous! It had everything we needed. Everything. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was hot, and there was breakfast item for us. Just a heads up, we were on the bottom floor but if you're upstairs there isn't an elevator. But don't let that stop you from staying there!

   Delightful and comfortable Sonas Guest house just 1 mile From the center of things along the Royal Mile. The place is very clean and the rooms were large and comfortable. Our beds and pillows were fine. We were on the third floor which was no problem but it’s is a walk-up. Each morning is offered a breakfast bag with porridge, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee fulfilling most needs for a decent breakfast. Other coffee, shops and pubs are a short Walk from the facility. Buses are very frequent on the adjoining street and take you to the center very quickly, or you can walk about 25 minutes if you prefer. Staff was cheery and helpful with logistics.

   I had the nicest stay. I booked a couple of nights after checking out early from a filthy (and not as described!) AirBnb and the Sonas Guesthouse was exactly what I needed to heal from the dreadful AirBnb experience: the place was immaculately clean and the room super-cosy (the comfortable bed, the nice décor, the fluffy carpet; also quiet – I slept like a baby). The owner and the house-keeping staff were the nicest, most friendly folks one could ask for - made me so welcome, and even accommodated two boxes with plants I dragged with me from another part of the UK (I was in the process of moving home) and also found room to store the extra luggage I had with me. The location is great as well – easy access to the town centre by bus or on foot, yet not affected by the typical tourist crowds. Plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby, green spaces and a yoga studio within walking distance. Plus, the place seems to attract the nice type of guests as well (some great chats were had) – which made the stay even nicer. Would highly recommend. Thank you Irene and the Team.

   Very friendly and convenient location. A recommended place. The only downside was that we got a room with a really small bed for a couple. There are other rooms and we probably should have asked to change.

   Fantastic stay, not right in the thick of it but just a short bus ride from Central Edinburgh, and close to a great whisky bar! The hosts couldn't have been more friendly or hospitable, a real warm Scottish welcome, I will definitely stay again.

   The guest house was absolutely cute, the room very cute as well, very comfortable beds, very clean and tidy. We were offered breakfast in a bag to go every morning. Maps of the city, tour brochures, plug adaptors, complementary snacks and fruit were offered as well, along with lists of taxi numbers, food places nearby etc. It was a very enjoyable stay!!

   Sonas guest house is a lovely well run establishment and I would highly recommend. Me and my 11 year old daughter had a 3 night stay here recently. The room was immaculate comfortable and the beds were very comfortable also. Great price and a wonderful place to stay. Very easy to get to all the attractions. The staff are lovely and very helpful when called upon
