The girl behind the counter was rude and needs to drop the attitude standing doing nothing at the till with no interest in serving customers
Hi, this is an urgent complain against one of the manager of your store in cribbs causeway mall Bristol. I tried calling but as I’m a lawyer so was busy and couldn’t hold on for long. One of the manager of your store was a racist and behaved really badly with me yesterday. When I asked for her name she didn’t tell me and asked the staff to not give her name. I’m a regular customer of river island and as my size didn’t match so I wanted to return the product with receipt and the jacket being absolutely fine. She just snapped at me and was behaving like an aggressive person. There were other people present there as well. The date is 28th February , time around 11am to 12pm. I’m an Asian and that was the only reason without even checking anything she was behaving in a disgusting manner. I’m a loyal customer of river island and I have never faced such situation and would really request to look in this matter. She is a white lady age around 30’s and she was the shift manager during that time.
Went to exchange some underwear today. The picture on the box showed that they were trunks but when I opened them found out they were boxers. I was told by the manager that they don't refund underwear for hygiene reasons. I pointed out that they actually sold me the wrong product. She claimed that it was just a generic picture of underwear and that I should have asked someone to check that what was in the box was the same as what was on the box. Completely ridiculous thing to say. Didn't get a refund. Joke of a store.
I love river island great choice of clothes but i have to say recently clothes not that great, sizes are good though

The black leggings are excellent quality, have a deep waistband for comfort, have a wide range of lengths and sizes.
Meh, same old same old. Nothing they would differentiate it from any other chain fashion store. Some of the items were poor quality too. So much so that my 10 year old could tell!!! Really need to up their game. Loud music and shiny lights can only hide so much.
