Tried to book a room on the website and after being unable to complete a booking I tried calling numerous times. I eventually got an answer. The person was completely unhelpful and seemed ignorant of the website booking procedure and availability of rooms.Wanted a double at £152 for two nights . First call said it was available and go ahead and book on website. Website said it was unavailable. Called again numerous times and told to book another at £218 as it would be 'the same price' although I'd be paying £218 on the website. I questioned this and the person said he couldn't help. Bad attitude. Booked elsewhwere.

Spent one night here and overall happy with the stay. It is really advised you stay here only if you have your own transportation, as it is off the beaten path a ways. Being away from the city felt nice, and there is a very lovely view waiting of the nature beyond and the fields with cows grazing peacefully. The room came stocked with a few treats, which was thoughtful. Amenities/utilities were apropros. Major complaint is the room had signs of black mold in corners of the walls/ceilings. Additionally, did not have access to email and needed a code from the email to open the gate to get in. Everything is a tight squeeze in Scotland with regard to cars, so entering/exiting without getting into someone else's way can be difficult. All things considered, would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at night time to the cabin and you could feel yourself relax immediately coming from the city at how peaceful the area is. The sleep was incredible being out in the countryside and waking up to the highland cows in the morning right outside of the window was magical. The price at $150 usd a night is a little steep but the experience of seeing the cows and peacefulness of the property justifies it.

Perfect accommodations for a trip with my mom and sister. Everything we needed for comfortable accommodations as we visited Scotland. The kitchen provided all we needed for meals in, beds were comfy, shower was hot with great water pressure and the view was amazing! The Highland Coos in the area right outside the windows as a bonus!! Would stay again if we ever head back!

We had such an amazing stay here . It was so peaceful and relaxing. Waking up with fields and Highland cows surrounding us was so beautiful . You can't feed or pet the cows but that's perfectly ok they are genuinley so close to the lodge that you can have a wonderful interaction with them . You have the road in the front but it's really not bothering because the lodges are at the back and there isn't a huge traffic either. The views were gorgeous . The lodge was very clean and has everything you need . There were some welcoming gifts which was so lovely . Jazelle is an amazing , friendly ,caring , helpful , reliable host . She would always help us when we needed something . It's around 30min driving to Edinburgh but it was ideal . You can have the buzyness of the city but afterwards you can go back to the peace of the countryside . We already said that when we're going back to Edinburgh we will go back there . Totally worth it .
