We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. It is within walking distance to the city centre, major attractions, restaurants, pubs, cafes and convenience stores. Although the hotel is next to a road, it wasn't noisy at all. Breakfast is provided which is sufficient to start our day. We walked from the Edinburgh Waverley station on the first day and it nearly "unalive" with the slight slope up to the hotel. We got smart on the day we checked out by getting a taxi to the train station. Affordable and saved our sanity! We will still choose this hotel if we ever visit Edinburgh in the future. ^^

Location is great β you can walk pretty much anywhere. Itβs perfect for couples staying a few days. The staff are extremely friendly, and the breakfast has everything you need (and itβs free when you book directly with them). The bed felt a bit outdated and the room couldβve been a bit cleaner, but overall we had an amazing stay and a great experience exploring Edinburgh.

In general it is a nice hotel. We paid more to have a bigger room. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. But no tea or coffee in room. You can get them in reception only. Friendly staff. The room was a bit dark as it gets dark soon in fall and the brightness in room was not enough. There was no hot breakfast like omelette or sausages.

Long overdue review. Wanted to give a massive shout out to Jamie and Lucia for providing impeccable service during my stay in June. They went out of their way to help me and made me feel welcome. The breakfast was pretty good too! Rooms are small, but as a solo traveller, it didn't bother me. Good location. Many thanks Jamie and Lucia for making my stay a comfortable one :)

This hotel provided an excellent experience, and I would definitely use them again! Friendly and helpful staff, very beautiful lounge area where I enjoyed the delicious breakfasts in the mornings and my coffees in the evenings. Rooms are compact but as a single traveler it met my needs perfectly and I stayed there for a week. Within walking distance of a lot of attractions and transport points.

We stayed in Point A in an accessible room this December. Accessibility features were great. comfortable seat in the shower, grab handle bars on all sides everywhere, a mirror at eye level for wheelchair users. The personnel were great - polite and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. This hotel serves continental breakfast (pastries, oats, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, tee and coffee). The rooms were clean and quite modern looking. Great location too. 5 min walk to Princess Street. Quite close to National Gallery. Slight negative - the room was quite small. Not a lot of storage for stuff and clothes in the room. Overall, great hotel. Would happily stay here again and would recommend.

Staff were so accommodating. We asked for a treat to be left in one of the rooms as we were celebrating a birthday and they left a balloon and a little champagne drink. It was amazing. All staff so friendly and location is in walking distance to everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay βΊοΈβΊοΈ

Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room was clean beds comfy, & breakfast spot on. For a budget hotel in the middle of Edinburgh with no frills this is definitely worth booking. Would come here again without hesitation. We'll done Point A.

I'd have liked to rate this place higher but it was missing a few things. It was clean, modern and well located with friendly staff and quiet. Like others mentioned, the rooms are very tight. Only room for one bed side stand with two beds. There were no hand towels, no Kleenex, the only place to really put clothes were on knobs on the walls. There was no kettle or coffee making supplies. There was coffee for purchase downstairs. I stayed for multiple days which was too much for the size of the rooms. One night maybe two would work better.
